The door didn’t lock

i didn't get any responses to my messages on bookings-you kind of have to just wait downstairs and track down an employee.

Not loads of staff around.

It’s is a big property! Full Kitchen, many outside lounge areas. Decent sized room (we had a private) with en suite. Excellent pizza place attached (though not affiliated). In a safe and quiet part of Poblado. They offer inexpensive laundry service. There never seemed to be anyone at the desk. We were there for 5 nights and hardly ever saw anyone to help us - and we did need a change of towel and soap. Luckily, the cleaning lady was around (but no English). Someone needs to be at the desk.

- staff was really friendly - price value is amazing - location quite good - room is really nice and very clean - huge TV with free Netflix ? - there is a kitchen BUT no stove, therefore no possibilities to cook - this is more the anonym kind of hostel, not really socialising - our room was inside without windows
-
-kitchen was clean - we had mold in our room - air circulating was terrible (-hostel looked very empty)
-
No stove.

We split our stay in Medellín in two hostels due to the busy time period (NYE) and we liked this one the best, even though it was half the price. We met some wonderful people in the garden. The shower seems to have a leak as the bathroom floor was wet after using it.

Excelllent safe location

An excellent and safe location! The premises are clean and visually pleasing. Stefania was so very kind and helpful. Just a ray of sunshine every morning. ?

The hostel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hostel is larger than you expected, with little corners to read and lie on hammocks. It's close to a lot of restaurants. Our room was spacious and clean. Hot water in the shower was a huge bonus. The kitchen has drinkable water. The cooking facilities were not great. Only a microwave and a toaster oven available. We did find the rooms do get very warm at night. There is no air conditioning. You are provided it's a fan but found it to be very loud and unable to sleep with it on.

Simple but comfortable. Stephanie was very welcoming and helpful. W oh le have extended the stay of they had availability.

The location was great! The rooms were too small. Part of the staff in the morning was too mean with us. (The only one who was friendly was Liliana) Also the connectors in the room didn’t work and pillows were not too good. By the time we arrived the were working on the main entrance so we had to walk a whole block in order to enter to the property by the back door. We didn’t know it and it ofc and they were rude about the explanation. Definitely I won’t go back there again

A decent place to stay in a good area that is close to a supermarket, subway and the main centre but is still quiet and peaceful. Our room was a little damp but not too bad, could maybe do with safety/ security bars on the window so you could leave it open during the day (there was a balcony and roof right outside) When we returned though our room was a lot nicer (a suite for a little more) with a balcony. The hostel itself was nice and the kitchen useful, though there was no hob which is unusual. Lots of places to chill though and everyone was very nice, friendly and helpful. Staff even got us extra pillows. The main complaint is that the wifi didn't work in our room and was a bit up and down, which wasn't ideal when trying to work. But we did return after a trip to Guatape and it was better, so it might have just been because of the Shakira concert.

Facilities and location were good value for money. There appeared to be no quiet hours. From 10.30pm until 4am both nights there was loud talking, singing and music by other guests (or staff?) that kept us awake . So unfortunately had poor sleeps both nights.

I liked everything. I will come back and u would recommend it. Beautiful hostel, very clean, nice atmosphere and good location

We arrived from a freezing cold overnight bus and they were so kind, letting us check in early, get a shower and make some food. Clean place, comfortable bed and in a great Poblado location close to the metro and away from the noise and bustle. I keep returning to this hostel as it has everything at a good price.

Excellent location. Only short walk to metro and El Poblado bar/ cafe/ restaurant scene. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Decent laundry service, albeit a little expensive compared to what we have met elsewhere. Kitchen is not very well stocked. Only 1 cutting board and most importantly only 1 hob which was a little inconvenient.
