Mandala Centro Medellín

This was the 5th times we stayed at this Hotel and a lot have changed, for good and also some things that defintely needs improvements. The cleaning staff was very kind and they had eye for every detail. Very Good wifi/ internet connection btw Their restaurant have a very good service. They have one of the most deliciuos passion fruit cheesecakes and the berries cheesecake as well ??? We booked this hotel months ago while it still had breakfast included. When we arrived, this was not included anymore which was very dissapointing. We booked especially the biggest room but didn't get it. Unfortunately it was under maintenance when we asked to change our room. The fridges wasn't stocked the same as before. Back then we had plenty of options to choose what we would like to drink, but now it was totally different. Amenities like shampoo, conditioner and soap are not available like before, we only got 2 handsoap.

Like always, you can hear everything, the cars, busses and people talking outside on the streets

NOT A DAMN THING!!!! This place IS a total DUMP IN A VERY BAD AREA! It was trashy, no bed comforter except a paper-thin cheap bed sheet, it was so loud to the point we did not sleep. The staff was incompetent and unwilling to help with our serious concerns. Checked out the next day and asked for a full refund, and they are being difficult. Booking.com needs to take responsibility for the full refund since it was booked thru them and they are promoting this rat-infested DUMP!! This place IS a total DUMP IN A VERY BAD AREA! Nothing Everything

Cool calm, close to almost everything. Traffic and I hope they did have at least a small chair in the room. Stay there for one day, well you probably won’t need it but for a long stay like I did. No bueno.

The staff was excellent . Good attitude towards guests keep it up good wishes

Great for a short stay and walking distance to the San Antonio metro station. The staff was friendly, room was clean and it included a nice breakfast. There is some street noise, but for centro that is to be expected.

They gave my spa bath room to someone else for the second part of my 13th to 19th stay so i checked out after my 13th to 16th stay i asked in the begining for the spa bath room which was available. I put uo with the street noise for the first part. after that it was we csnt we cant nothing available except the same third floor noise rooms?

Customer service I LOST MY PHONE IN A TAXI ..they helped me a lot ..in contacting my family and friends The free breakfast, the staff the location close to metro and train...safety ..cameras security... Front desk,hot water ..big beds ....so much to mencion....I have stayed numerous times EL LUGAR ES EXCELENTE...TRANQUILO Y EL PERSONAL EL MEJOR !!!! No complains

I stayed at this hotel with my family, including a toddler. While the hotel interior was reasonably well-kept, the surrounding area didn’t feel particularly inviting, and unfortunately, several issues made the stay frustrating. There was no hot water in the shower, which was especially problematic with a young child. I contacted the front desk, and they assured me they would move us to another room with working hot water. I specifically asked them to confirm this before the move, and they promised to double-check and get back to me—but no one ever followed up. By the next morning, the water was even colder. In addition to the water issue, the bathroom lacked basic amenities like enough hangers, making it less functional for a family stay. The lack of hot water was inconvenient, but the real disappointment was the broken promise and lack of communication from the staff. This experience fell short of expectations, and I wouldn’t choose to return.

Exceptional

The hotel is quite affordable and the amenities are great. However, I can not get myself to give the hotel a perfect score because of the seedy location it is on. There are so many sketchy characters roaming around the streets the vicinity at all hours of the day. This is not the fault of the hotel, of course. But it is something to be considered if you plan to walk around the area during your stay. Read above.

The location of the facility was very good. Since it is on the road, there is a lot of noise, but the staff who provided us with this comfort, especially Miss. Alexandra and other colleagues, were very interested in us. They answered all our questions patiently. I was pleased with their interest and left. I would also like to thank them very much. The staff is really excellent.If the hotel manager is reading this article, he should reward these staff with bonuses because they make us comment very positively.
