Hotel Is newer and modern and nicely decorated. Almost guest friendly. Free breakfast is nice. Most staff are good. Automatic jacuzzi's ruined two nights. After checking in my guest, the reception called but room to bother me about a fee they didn't collect that wasn't even owed on today's rental - completely ruined the third night there. I only was there for five days and they ruined 3 of them. 60% chance you won't have much fun here. Basically if you don't want to ruin your trip, you night look elsewhere. Tons off police hang out here which is scary if you are from the US. Reception messed up and threatened to call police for trying to charge a bogus guest fee instead of resolving the matter in Whatsapp as requested so we could understand each other. Created a huge fight with my girl and had a girlfriend night again. Guest policy is per 24 hours instead of pretty day received so they can try to collect more money from you and bother you if you don't rent day to day, but even then they will bother you and run your night.

la atencion del personal y el desayuno son buenos. The staff's service and the breakfast are good. Este hotel no es un lugar para descansar, el ruido de las discotecas cercanas es demasiado alto, ni siquiera con tapa oidos, se puede evitar, estan mal insonorizadas las habitaciones, y solo puedes dormir despues de las 3:30 am. This hotel is not a place to get some rest; the noise from nearby nightclubs is deafening—not even earplugs can block it out. The rooms have poor soundproofing, and you can only sleep after 3:30 a.m.

What I liked most about the property was that everything was very clean and organized, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very welcoming. I also liked that everything—such as restaurants and bars—is located nearby, and that there is plenty of security. One other thing I forgot to mention is that you will hear a fair amount of music in your room—though not excessively loud—so I recommend using earplugs. Personally, I had a great experience overall , I would be back again . No comments

It is a fairly new building. The people in the kitchen are very friendly. The bedding is very comfortable and room have a great large the shower. Also the location is near everything. It is surrounded by clubs and noise until very late. I choose the room in the basement to avoid the noise, but canalizations are very loud: you can ear neighbors take their shower, or the hotel’s laundry room on the same floor.

The jacuzzi has no control, so you had to ask the front desk to start pouring water and flushing water out, which is very inconvenient. But other than that little imperfection, everything is extraordinary.

we read reviews (and confirmed) the overall activity in the area, we were a little bit concerned about the noise and not be able to get a good night sleep. We requested the quietest room possible, we got "the bunker" LOL, it has no windows, room is in the basement. Perfect for a good night sleep; loved it! No complaints. The streets are narrow, perfect for walking but a challenge if you are bringing a car (not our case).

The hot tub was nice and the breakfast menu was good and had much options. It would have been nice to have a little bit more of a service in English but atleast Google translate is there

Location is the only good thing about this place. Close to all the bars/restaurants. The AC/Heat in the room didn't work on a cold night. Dirty bathroom. Small room. Bad value for money for Medellin.

It was the best stay we had in Colombia. We try to stay budget conscious and this was really worth it. Good breakfast, good location, luxorious sheets and an actual comforter! A balcony and excellent water pressure in the bath. We were there on monday and didnt even hear outside noise. The inside walls are thinner and you can hear your neighbours on the hall.

Everything! I love everything, so no complaints

Maria, Carolina, Cindy, Gabriel, and Monica truly represent what hospitality should be. From the check-in process through our entire stay, the treatment was excellent. They were courteous, attentive, and always made sure we felt safe and valued as guests — they are a great asset to this property. The rooms were cleaned daily, the A/C worked perfectly, and we had hot water every day. The breakfasts Maria prepared were always fresh and delicious. It’s a wonderful property to stay at — just keep in mind that you may hear some late-night music from nearby venues. Other than that, it’s a fantastic hotel and highly recommended!

Good breakfast, nice staff, rooms were nice other than the amount of noise from the street Noise from the street until about 3:00 AM on weekends was high in my room (street-facing; 3rd floor).

Breakfast and the location was awesome if you like to party into the early morning hours! Which was my exact reason for traveling to Medellin! Not being able to pay cash for my reservation once I reached the hotel. Had to pay for it with credit card. The check- in process was nerve racking having to add the Origen Hotel to my What's App to check in! AC remote was missing battery backing, so I couldn't change the temp on the AC. Luckily the weather cooperated and it wasn't really hot! But all of this was just an minor inconvenience!
