Very comfy bed, good location, cool aesthetic, we enjoyed the free salsa class. The free coffee and water was appreciated. Our room only had a window to the inside of the building and one small fan, as a result it became very very hot and stuffy, and sound would carry up through the building - I think they hire out the downstairs cafe for private functions so that was loud and cordoned off a couple of times. Also, a weird layout having the private bathroom across the hall. As budget conscious backpackers we felt it was not great value. Also, they offer various activities but don't really advertise them to you and so the atmosphere didnt feel very social.

The property is great, everything is well kept and clean, rooms are very nice and I really loved the garden view. Bread Factory was exceptional! The pool is a bit small but it series its purpose. I liked the hostel very much. Everybody was so kind and helpful (except of one guy, but I didn’t know the name). Wilson, Roque, Harby, the guys from the bar hopping, they were awesome! I’d definitively return Nothing

Location. Breakfast great. Friendly staff. Room (double room) was quiet. Activities. The called Uber for us whenever we needed. Had to pay for extra room when I brought someone after nightlife.

Beautiful property, the window opened to let in air and city sounds, and there was a fan in the room. The shower has HOT WATER! <3 The staff was amazing, had tips whenever we asked, and the bar hopping nights were so fun!! Definitely try it out if you get a chance as they have a bottle, you walk in a group, have great energy, and help you get in to different discotecas quickly! There’s no bell/buzzer to ring if you’re locked out at the gate but there’s usually someone at the front desk!

The design is very modern, rooms are wide and spacious. The common areas are nice, especially the bar and rooftop pool with the views of the city. There's a bakery/cafe accessible from the hostel and it's one of the best in the area! Highly recommended Nothing

Great location and stuff.

The staff make this hostel one of the best I've stayed at in Colombia. I kept extending my stay cause it just really felt like home. Octavio and Santiago really helped me a lot. Professional, kind and always there to lend a helping hand! Along with the other staff super nice and friendly. Will definitely come back! Thanks

The welcome cocktail was good. Rude service when we arrived. Santiago (Feb 21 in the afternoon) did not finish our check in before trying to sell tours to other clients. He showed a pretty girl around but no information for us (like wifi or the amenities). The guy at the reception the next day (Feb 22) was much nicer. I would not recommend it if you would like some rest. We had a private room with bathroom on the 3rd floor. It was very noisy until past midnight and during the whole morning. Finally, the hostel is not in a very nice part of Poblado.

Great hostel experience, good common areas, comfortable beds and pillow, good location

Staff go above and beyond for you at this place and the interior of this hostel is beautiful. Sometimes noisy in the weekend from the parties but this is in the heart of Medellins party district and somehow not too loud.

great location. the staff is very nice, the beds are comfy. it can be noisy at night at times, but as long as you have your earplugs you'll be fine. n/a

We thought the staff were incredibly kind (shout out Octavio & Amparo) and accommodating. The private room was modern and the rooftop pool was a fun spot to hang out and cool down on hot days. Using their laundry service was very convenient and affordable! Very centrally located in Poblado, we were able to walk to many different bars and restaurants. We generally felt safe in this part of the city as two women. Overall, for having hostel in the name, it was much nicer than expected throughout the building and services. The bathroom could use some hooks for our towels and wet bathing suits. The room sometimes got a bit hot, although the provided fan helped.

Staff is excellent, everyone! The tours arranged from the hotel were awesome too! I mean that. The food was only okay for the vegan options, but the hrs of the restaurant very were convenient. The location is perfect for the upbeat party scene with some good restaurants nearby. It was excellent in cleanliness, & had a plethora of options for any & everything ( spanish classes, food tours, dance, yoga, motocross, bar hopping) all levels of tourism and experiences. There is ALWAYS some thing to do. I recommend the Comuna 13 tour w/ Miguel, he was AWESOME. Best tour I attended in Medellin so far. There was loud music all night throughout the morning many days with no way to keep the room quiet. The noise could be lessened but not silenced. And some ants in the bathroom on the back wall and sink were a thing, but not overly present.

The showers were super clean. I liked the female shower room, but the water pressure in the mixed shower room was better. It wasn’t really social :( I stayed there for a long time and the hostel seemed a bit empty. After a while I met some people and they said the same thing.

I had an incredible stay at Rango Hostel in Medellín. The whole experience exceeded my expectations — the hostel is very clean, well maintained, and offers plenty of activities, which makes it easy to meet people and enjoy the city. What truly made the difference, though, was the staff. They were not only helpful and welcoming, but genuinely became our friends throughout the stay. Rango is also a fantastic spot for digital nomads. The Wi-Fi is reliable, there are comfortable common areas to work from, and the overall atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between productivity and social life. Highly recommend this place — I would definitely stay here again! Everything was great
