Everything. City Limits had the perfect balance of modern, friendly, comfort and value. All the basics were well covered (WiFi, Kettle) with thoughtful touches (local soap, yummy biscuits) plus a very helpful staff. The location was perfect for my needs. I have already shared the hotel with friends in Melbourne who are looking for a place to recommend when people visit. Nothing.

The room for the most part was nice and comfortable. The bed was excellent and the ability to be able to view more than just satellite TV channels was great. The location was also very convenient in regards to finding bars, restaurants and a quick walk to Melbourne Central, as well. The blanket had stains on it that had clearly not been washed out, there was visible damage to the walls, small specks of what looked like black mold underneath the lid of the bottle of water in the fridge, which also hadn't been fully cleaned out. The bathroom wasn't ventilated which meant that after you have a shower, the bathroom floor becomes a swimming pool and leaves you having to use the majority of the towels you get given to dry it up. The room wasn't all bad, me and my friend's stay was comfortable, but these are factors that need to be addressed. I would suggest finding accommodation somewhere else.

Small hotel where management greeted you daily. Very close to restaurants, shopping, bars, sightseeing activities. Very clean with equipped kitchenette. Nothing.

The additional availability of better coffee 24 hours a day free in the lobby was a great plus. A dish rack would be nice, but not a big deal. No hot plate or cooking facilities. The microwave was fine for reheating just be aware not a fully equipped kitchenette. Like most places, there were no paper towels or cleaning supplies other than a sponge and dish soap. Again not a big deal, just be aware of it.

#1 room's door is just next to elevator's door - hardly sleeping because of noises. Street noises during night.

I liked everything, but the weekend was very busy due to a big car race event in Melbourne and it pushed prices up and reduced availabiility.

Staff were very pleasant, room clean and tidy The reason we chose here, was that it was close to where we were going out for a function - so only really required it for sleeping and showering. The room was very stuffy. If you opened the windows onto little bourke st - it was extremely noisy. We chose the air con, but it only stayed on for a couple of minutes then stopped for 10, this repeated all night long. The air con was excessively loud kept me awake most of night. The walls are paper thin and the person next door had their TV going loud all hours of the night which also kept us awake

The hotel is in a perfect location, near tram stations and the train station! The neighborhood is clean and fun (with lots of cafe, bars, restaurants). The hotel is simple but very functional. Room was clean, windows can open for fresh air, the reception staff was very nice, very accommodating and attentive. It is such a good place, great value for the money. We'll use it again in the future.

Simple, clean rooms, located close to Australian Open tennis. Toilet a bit unusual- had a Flushometer style handle. Could be smelly but kept fan on.

A spacious and comfortable accommodation. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. It exceeded all expectations. Its location along with parking makes it a great option for those visiting Melbourne with a car. We arrived early and the host was most accommodating.
