Staff were excellent and looked after us very well . TV didn't work .
-
The giant TV screen, thr pub and the cafe at the ground level.

Checkout was quick. I was advised i had been given an upgraded room which i paid more for however this was not the case. The bath shower area is unsafe. Any modern hotel should not have a shower over bath as they are very unsafe. A walk in shower should be the standard. Parking instructions were not clear.

THE BED SHEETS MATTRESS AND PROTECTOR AWESOME NO GLASSES BUT WE GOT SOME
-
nice room and location no hair in bath

It’s a great venue, just something’s wrong at the core of operations When I arrived for my confirmed booking, I was turned away as they had no rooms availiable. 4 days later I received a full charge as a no show. Spent a month calling, emailing and even if I talk to someone their escalation goes unanswered

value for money location perfect view great

I like the location, close to tram station, a bit further from down town CBD. The shower area is not that clean. The carpet is old due to old building.

Ease of parking, check-in was good. Bed super comfy. Love having bar, restaraunt and cafe on site. Bit disappointed that we got back to the hotel just after 10pm on a Friday night and the bar was closed even though there was 5 tables in there.

The room was great and the bed was so comfy and the room was great and so was the service. This is the second time staying there and i will stay again and i tell my family and friends to stay there. Nothing
-
Excellent parking with unrestricted entry and exits, late check out approved without hesitation, bed configuration changed on arrival, staff went above to help. At hotel service was amazing, phone contact prior was not supportive of any of the changes we needed. Cooling in the room was not adequate.

We had a great stay, lovely hotel and close to trams, breakfast was really good too
-
Very small, and there was a door on my wall inside the room between me and the other room. I could hear people sneezing in the next room. And I paid almost $500 for 2 nights (it was Australia day weekend though).

Breakfast, location convenience Room didn't really look like it had been cleaned. There was still rubbish in the room and it needed to be vacuumed.
-
Great value, we were upgraded to a higher floor. Had great staff & food/drink experiences in both the Restaurant & Bar during Christmas period. Think there was a staffing issue late at nights
-
The bathroom had a light whistle hiss sound in the ceiling fan which did my head in for 3 night and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable, those pillow need to be changed, their worn out. Also, you might need to investigate what type of detergent laundry uses to clean the sheets as I was itchy throughout the nights even though I was applying moisturiser on my body after my evening showers

Large friendly atmosphere Room want ready one time

On a positive note, the room service food was good Disappointing stay – not worth the price Unfortunately, my stay at Mercure was very disappointing. The room felt quite depressing and did not match the expectations set by the photos or the price paid. Basic amenities were missing: there was no hair conditioner, no hair dryer, and the bin didn’t even have a plastic liner, which felt unhygienic. The view was extremely poor, especially considering the high cost of the room. The hotel has two towers, which is confusing, as the photos online only seem to show the better tower. The room I was allocated was clearly not what is advertised. On top of that, I could clearly hear people walking in the room above, which made it hard to relax. There is also no microwave available, which is inconvenient for longer stays or families. On top of all this, I was charged an unexpected extra $50 without being informed in advance. I was told this amount would be refunded, however I have still not received the full refund, which is very frustrating. Overall, this hotel does not offer good value for money. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it unless expectations are very low.

It may need an undertanding that mercure and pullman are together , parking was good etc just found on check in and check out that it was such a delay even if i had done it on line i needed to sort carparking so i stood in a line with one person on the desk leaving however we got help with our bags and the wait wasnt as long to check out but it was handled through concierge not the desk assistant
