This family-run 3-star hotel is located in the historic center of Melk in the Wachau World Heritage Site, at the foot of the Baroque abbey. Free WiFi and free private parking are available. The Wachauerhof's restaurant serves regional and Austrian specialties and refined wines from the Wachau. All rooms were renovated in 2013 and feature cable TV, large windows, and a private bathroom. Located directly on the Danube Bicycle Trail, the Wachauerhof provides a shelter for bicycles. All attractions in the region can be reached quickly and easily. The breakfast was amazing - there were a wide variety of food/drink options and the quality was great. I would suggest adding a note within booking reservations that includes detailed directions on how to reach the parking lot for anyone that is bringing a car.

Good location. Helpful and courteous staff. Breakfast spread was good as well Nothing really to not like but probably since it’s an older property there was no air conditioning in the room. Open the windows and then it’s nice anyways

The restaurant was very good, however, I was a little disappointed when one of the servers automatically disposed of half of my meal after I said I was done eating. Having lived in the U.S. for such a long time, I’m very used to taking home leftovers, so I wish they had asked before clearing the plate.

The room is very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It has an excellent location, very close to the Abbey.

The breakfast was great. There was a wide variety of food and the breakfast area was very clean. I was returning from competing our trip and when we arrived, the hotel had reserved a space to accommodate our car and trailer. The staff very friendly and outgoing

The breakfast was great. Always a wide selection to choose from. The hotel location is great and the small shops are within walking distance (5 - 10 minutes). The hotel room was spacious . I had a small trailer and I was allowed to park the car and trailer in one of the bus parking spaces.

Absolutely everything. Room 115 is perfect. We stayed in lots of hotels during the year but this one was the first that satisfied everything. Warm, cozy, perfect beds, fridge in the room that did not make noise, electric heating, quality bathroom. No, really, it was perfect.

The breakfast was great. Everything was fresh and a lot of different choices. I like the parking that is available on the hotel grounds. This is a lot better option than parking on the street. We actually had a great stay. The staff was very friendly and the room was great.

On the way to hotel, I got injured because the street was slippery on rainy day. I barely made rest of trip.

The room was super. it was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Easy access to the reception desk and dining room. The breakfast was super. The hotel provided a wide variety of food stuff to choose from. The receptionist and the dining room staff were very friendly and cheerful. We can not think of anything that was bad.
