The room we got on the roof top was not so comfortable and old . The second bed was not solid .
-
Great place Too expenaive for the room that we have. The breakfast hasn't any hot plates.2

The location was convenient and the breakfast had a nice variety with great coffee!
-
It took more than a hour to checkin because of availability of the staff during the weekday evening around 3-4 pm

Melk is picturesque, like a fairy tale. One of my favorite places I’ve ever been. The staff was kind and friendly, and the coffee is absolutely wonderful. Bring some home!!

Nice location ??

Absolutely great location, a huge room with a nice view to the Rathaus on the other side of the street, a bathroom size of a small apartment, great shower, nice and helpful staff, great breakfast. The driveway to the parking lot is narrow, but it adds charm to the stay, you realize you stay in a truly historical place :)

No elevator. But we expected this. All rooms up one or two flights. Only mentioning in case mobility is an issue for potential guests. Also no AC. Again, we expected this, but be prepared if visiting in summer.

Great location! Breakfast was nice. Very very dirty. We had hairs all over the place
-
The staff was busy with the restaurant, so it took some time to get to our room. It is an old building, but it's in the central of the city, perfect location.
-
Parking is horrible - tight squeeze into park place, you have to move two cars to park yours, assistance of habitats required.
-
Location right in the heart of Melk and the Abbey right there. I would have liked more shampoo/body wash to be there upon check-in. We were 5 people so 1 bottle was not enough.

Fantastic breakfast

Breakfast was wonderful: a large selection of cheeses, cold cut meat, jams, muesli, nuts, yoghurt, sweet pastry and more...coffee/tea/hot chocolate! Staff was very helpful and kind. Location is brilliant, and the hotel is quaint and charming. Parking space is challenging to get into (very tight) - it would be tricky with a larger vehicle. Our bathroom had an old fashioned bathtub with hardly any water pressure. But my husband and son had a great shower. The place is old fashioned and quite simple, so if you do not want a luxury hotel, you will enjoy your stay.

The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and the food in the restaurant was excellent!

Th room was clean and big, we had a parking spot which is very important when you travel with a car and the breakfast was great! Nothing

No really private parking

The location is amazing, right on the main square, and we had a view directly to the abbey wall! Everything is clean and rather comfortable. There was plenty of space in the room. The beds are good. The breakfast was sufficient, and its quality was good. The decorations are rather cheap, but perhaps, it’s fine for a tiny suburban town. I mean, that it’s an old building, and it’s lovely, but then you put red stickers with the room numbers, and ruin the atmosphere. ) I would love to have a kettle in the room, but maybe, there are no kettles in Austrian hotels altogether. But it’s possible to ask for hot water at the cafe at any time.

On the plus side, the beds are comfortable and the location is in the city center. You can walk around easily without needing a car. On the downside — we’ve never seen such dirt anywhere else, and we travel often. You can see what I mean in the photos Everything is too old and dirty. I’m attaching photos
