Location is very good .

Room had great view, we had a private room that was very big. The hostel has a restaurant with a view over the lake with 15% off for the guests for breakfast And we received some vouchers for free drinks for dinner The toilets were ok 10 minutes from the ferry, from the bus station and from the city center, up the hill

Walls are super thin so you can hear everything in other rooms. So don't forget to bring earplugs! And beds are not super comfy, but good enough for the price!

The location was excellent, close to the ferry and the center. The staff was wonderful, kind, and helpful. We were 7 cyclists and they were great about accommodating our bicycles. The restaurant at the lower facility was great. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food, with a view of the lake. We arrived on bicycles. Although the location was excellent, and easily accessible on foot, it was difficult to get there on our bikes. There was no curtain on the big window in the bathroom, so one is totally exposed. We were offered a free drink, but only given one card for the seven of us, and there was a lot of confusion about that. A very minor issue, but confusing.

I liked the price for sure - The staff were friendly and nice - There was no Major issues whatsoever - The location is up on a hill and the way isn't a normal road at all (somewhat of a hike), if you take the shorter pathe shared by them, but it was fun experience with my friends to be honest (a bit creepy late at night) - The rooms where small, there was no lockers in our room and the beds are small, if you are tall you will not fit in the upper bed. if you have other options, this one is not the best. - Also if you are a group, try finding a family/group rooms then you won't have to share your room with strangers

2. I got way more services than I expected for the price. 3. The cleanliness.of room, toilet and the kitchen 4. The temperature of the room was just right Only a small rhing, that the upper dorm didn't had an electric plug to charge my phone. Other than that, i loved the hostle

We enjoyed our stay at Hostal Santángela. The staff was very kind and helpful — especially Camilo, who went out of his way to assist us when we arrived outside of check-in hours and had some trouble finding the hotel. Communication with the property was excellent the entire time. The views from the hotel are beautiful, and I also appreciated the breakfast arrangement: it’s not included, but they offer a discount at a restaurant just down the hill, which was delicious. Another big plus was that they allowed us to store our luggage. Overall, a warm and welcoming place with great service. One thing to keep in mind is that the hostal is not very accessible — you have to climb quite a few stairs and a steep hill to get there, which can be a bit tiring, especially with luggage. Also, the room is quite narrow, with just enough space for the basics. Overall, it’s a welcoming place with great service, but be prepared for the walk and limited room space.

Kitchen As others have noted, you can feel the springs through the thin mattress (think kids camp when you were young and didn't care). NOT a traditional bed! Facility really looks run down (outside and inside) ... and, yet, still expensive. No entertainment, including a lack of TV. Rooms comparable to summer camp experience.

The location was a bit of a steep climb but it was expected

Camillo was a truly nice host through and through. Very comfortable setting within a great neighborhood location. Well run and great communication. Clean and tidy. Would return again!!

Room size is quite small

Location, friendly stuff, beautiful view, comfortable bed - even for two people. Very nice and cozy garden. More towels needed in a room and voice isolation + at least shower gel or something would be nice.

The owner was very open and honest. Also 5 min away is a restaurant-pizza-bar with very good prices and vouchers.Location is 5min walk to ferry bot which goes Bellagio and other locations.Parking available at the property location and the room itself wasn't bad at all, clean sheets and spacious room.The view was amazing . Very small bathroom without any option to hang your towel or shampoo.The toilet also inside which makes this space even harder to move around. No hangers for clothes and no bar to support the hangers.Bed very uncomfortable because of the cheap mattress, I could feel the bed frame metal under the mattress.I couldn't sleep very well.

The room was perfect for what we needed!The staff were extremely lovely and accommodating. Could see the a small part of the lake from our room which was nice! Was a bit of a walk up the hill which was a challenge with suitcases and the room was a bit tight but otherwise the hostel itself was good.

Liked the view from the hotel.. Little bit walk but when you see reach the hotel you will not feel bad… just when you reach Menaggio please call the hotel reception for the short cut route…
