Grand Hotel Victoria Concept & Spa, by R Collection Hotels

The hotel's location is one of the best in Como: next to the lake, near the ferry, and close to restaurants and bars. We came for a couple's romantic getaway and saw the family hosting too; the hotel is friendly to young children and family trips too. The facility is pumping, and the staff is amazing - making the stay unforgettable. We usually stay at luxury hotels, and the Grand Hotel Victoria exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended.

This was the best hotel we have stayed at. The room, facilities, and pool were all recently renovated and were exceptional. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

The staff at the Grand Victoria was exceptional. Very friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. The location was perfect, and the spa facilities were amazing. We enjoyed a couple of nights in the hotel restaurant and bar, and the surrounding town offered many great places to eat and drink as well. During our visit, we also enjoyed a limo boat ride which was arranged by the hotel staff, and a ferry ride to neighboring cities. The entire experience was wonderful.

Definitely the top hotel we’ve ever stayed at in the world. The spa was unbelievably high end, the included breakfast was the best ever. All the staff were so helpful with everything we needed. They let us relax in the pool area after our check out time. Perfect stay !

Had a deluxe courtyard room. Was fantastic and larger than anyone would need I think. Breakfast is exceptional, maybe the best I have ever had. Service exceptional across the hotel, spa, dining, concierge, reception. The spa is world class, have seen nothing better.

The reception, concierge, car/parking, Spa staff was very friendly and helpful. Most of the team at the restaurant also was good. We got a free upgrade for our suite to a higher level suite when we arrived - that was very nice and unexpected. During our stay, we wanted to have the hotel’s well-known pizza for dinner, which had been recommended to us by the hotel team. Although the pizza was clearly being served to other guests in the restaurant, and there were still free tables available, we were told that we had to eat it in the bar area at the low sofa tables because it was considered part of the all-day menu. It might be nice for drinks and snacks, but we found this seating arrangement indeed very uncomfortable for dinner. How can a hotel of that category impose that on their guests? What was particularly confusing for us was that the pizza had been recommended by the hotel, was visibly being served in the restaurant to other guests, and yet we were not allowed to order it there. When we asked for the reason, we were only told that “sometimes it is ok,” which did not feel like a satisfactory or guest-friendly explanation. This left us with the impression that there may have been unclear or inconsistent criteria regarding who could order this item in the restaurant.

I liked everything about this hotel. The location was excellent, easy walking distance to the ferry, the bus station and The rooms were immaculate, we were in the new building at the rear of the resort so had a partial view of the lake . The breakfast buffet that was included was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Lake Como region. The only suggestion that I feel could be improved was the knowledge of the conceirge staff. Typically I would expect them to know what time the ferry terminal opens, the menus of local restaurants, what nights the restaurants were open, different travel options to Como etc. The every staff member that I had the pleasure of interacting with extremely accomodating and pleasant to a fault.

The facilities were beautifully updated and the newer areas were fabulous. We loved the spa, pool and the beach club has amazing views! There’s nothing we didn’t like.

A lovely place for such a lovely location. Everything was spectacular, especially the view, accommodations and staff. We look forward to returning to Lake Como and staying at this hotel again. We should have stayed longer

Excellent from all aspects. Truly luxury hotel with best staff ever Nothing

Service was impeccable! Every staff person at the hotel was kind, helpful, knowledgeable and truly cared about our experience. They upgraded our room so that we could be near to our sons. We made reservations for a boat ride and changed plans about 10 times and they were so patient with us. Again, because they wanted to make sure we had a good time. The food was amazing, the breakfast was the best spread we’ve ever had. The spa was just insane. So nice and upscale, but it was not pretentious. Overall it was the best hotel we’ve experienced and we are definitely going back.

One of the standout aspects of our stay was the incredible staff, who were not only professional and attentive but genuinely kind and eager to ensure our comfort. From check-in to check-out, we felt cared for in a way that was both personal and seamless. Lorena, the division manager, went above and beyond—personally attending to our every need with such grace and sincerity. She checked in on us daily, made thoughtful recommendations, and truly made us feel like VIP guests. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality were highlights of our entire trip. There was nothing that we did not enjoy. Our entire experience was wonderful.
