The host is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. It’s an old property so don’t expect too much about the facilities. Also the bathroom is kinda small, there’s limited room between the lower bed the upper bed, please be careful.

I love everything about this place. Staff and location are SUPERB!

Location, staff, cleanliness.

Location and the feeling of being at home. Don Alfonso treats you like family. Close to everything and in a beautiful neighborhood.

I booked a hostel because I was hoping to meet some other travelers but I rarely saw anyone. The hostel lacks in shared spaces for socializing. The outdoor kitchen is just functional (when it's not raining) but clean up seems to be completely up to guests and fridges look like they are never cleaned out

Older colonial house.

Very cozy homey atmosphere, family run older home. Personal touches of Mexican art all over. Shower had great natural light. Lovely outdoor kitchen area with everything you need. Kind staff, very accommodating. Can store bags, check-in early at 1pm. Amazing location, very walkable to nearby shops, restaurants, safe neighborhood. Coffee shop downstairs. Walls a bit thin, can sometimes overhear conversations but sleeping was fine. I used ear plugs but that’s because I’m a light sleeper.

The Location was great! Walking distance to restaurants, cafes, bars, etc. Our room was very quiet! Staff was very professional, pleasant and helpful! Location

This is a 3rd or 4th generation family owned guest house in a gentrifying area. Alfonso, the owner, is wonderful and very helpful. My room was large, quiet, and bright and the building is very charming, but also a little tired. My experience was enjoyable but if you’re looking for a stay without creaking floors and with modern facilities this may not be for you.

Amazing location, coffee shop downstairs, welcoming host, comfortable room and bed. The decorations are lovely and the hostel feels very homey. The outdoor space is very nice. The area is very walkable with coffee shops, parks, bars, restaurants, museums close by.

The owner and all the staff were incredibly friendly and easy-going. The hostal was the perfect place to drop my bags and have a place to sleep while I explored the city. The hostal is walkable to many museums, parks, restaurants, and cafes. The metrobús is also easy to take and there are stops close to the property. Although the beds aren’t the most comfortable, they’re perfectly fine for the what you pay.

Great location. Large room. Easy access.

Lovely, welcoming staff. Comfortable, clean and beautiful room with balcony. Great location! I could have asked for a better place!

great location, safe neighborhood, beautiful dorm, the Any's cafe downstairs where you can easily have coffee and breakfast in the morning, the staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful, even to assist with a late check in. Mosquito nets on the windows would be great because I was eaten by mosquitoes at night but it was too hot to close the windows.

I really liked location of this hostel. It is close to the Reforma Avenue and the Chapultepec park. The bed itself was clean and comfortable enough. I stayed in the shared room for women (the pretty one with the chandelier and the stained glass). There were only two of us in the room. The environment was calm and I slept well. I stayed at the hostel at the end of March and I also felt comfortably warm during the night. I am glad I was provided drinkable water. The staff was nice and they also helped me with finding my way around the city. The bathroom wasn´t clean enough and there was mold (also at the shower curtain). I didn´t bring my flip flops and it felt very unpleasant to stand on the tiles with my bare feet. The towel also didn´t feel fresh. I think the shower should be cleaner even if it´s just a hostel. I think the place is nice but I cannot give better evaluation as the one thing you expect is to be at a place which is basic but clean enough. I would still probably book this accomodation again as I just simply needeed a place with a good location where I can rest for the other busy day exploring the city. The shower was manageable I guess (but it depends on the level of tidiness you expect). Also a lot of the reviews said (and emphasized) that the place is clean which altogether doesn´t correspond with my view. I think that the bathroom should be just more cleaner for the price (also when the tax and fee adds to it). Just a note: One night I got bitten by mosquito on my hands so consider to close the windows soon enough or to have an insect repellent.

Close to public transport, friendly staff Wifi connection is unstable. Some devices can not connect with the internet.

Will go to the same hotel next time I'm in Mexico city, incredibly kind staff, great facilities (beautiful architecture, public cafe in the street on the ground floor, rooftop), safe and central location in beautiful Roma

The staff were all helpful, kind, toilet paper was tbe only isssue.. ... buy your own but be careful if tbe plumbing The single room i had was spacious and european long windows. Night's were quiet despite being on tbe street. Loved the staff and my room toilet paper in short supply, though i got a roll when asked it was an issue given tummy issues
