I booked a bed in a female dorm, and since there were no other guests staying in the room during my visit, I ended up having the entire room to myself, which was a wonderful bonus. The hostel is beautiful and located in the peaceful, charming neighborhood of Coyoacán. Lockers are available for storing your belongings, though you’ll need to bring your own padlock. Towels are also provided. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming throughout my stay. Breakfast was served after 8:00 a.m. and included orange juice, coffee or tea, yogurt, fresh fruit, and a different main dish each day. During my stay, I enjoyed tomato tortillas and tacos con queso—both of which were among the best meals I had during my trip to Mexico. Overall, I had a relaxing and memorable stay, and I would happily recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in Coyoacán. Nothing

The staff is great, breakfast was wonderful❣️ The bathroom. Nothing to dry hands after using the sink. It has a mold issue & that made them keep a window open & the shower was not so great

The hostal is located on a quiet block, with cafes nearby and the metro a 15 minute walk. The property offers a comfortable living room, dining room and garden spaces. It is a secured building but there are no locks on the room doors. The shower has hot water which is always much appreciated. Breakfast is included, I did not partake as I’m vegan but it always smelled so good. The smells from the kitchen gave it a homey feel. I would like a room door that locks and a small lamp instead of the bright overhead light.

The family was very nice and they kept things clean. The free breakfast was always on time and tasty. The location to public transportation and cool spots in Coyoacán was perfect. Nice coffee shops near by also. I bunked with too many people some nights

High level of hospitality, cleanliness, helpfulness, and friendliness of the staff without exception. Coyoacan is a very nice and quiet area. On my next visit to Mexico, I will definitely stay there again. Thanks for everything, Yaz from Italy.

The hostel is wonderfully located, just a few minutes away from Frida Kahlo Museum and Coyoacán Market. The house is spacious, with a garden around it. The room and bathroom are just okay. They served a basic breakfast without extra charge, which is appreciated. Staff is very nice, but there was some misunderstanding about my arrival time. I let them know that I'll be arriving late at night, and they agreed. However, when I got there, around midnight, the gate was locked and there was no one to let me in. It would have been very easy telling me that they leave at night and just giving me the code for the door. Anyways, if you plan to arrive late at night, I discourage you to book this place, since you may get stranded outside.

I loved the location. Coyoacan is a beautiful area really worth to explore although a bit far from the city center. I had the female dorm for myself so I had no complaints. It was clean and comfy. Every day there is breakfast included cooked by the owner which is very nice. Laundry available for 50 pesos 2-3KG The bathrooms/showers need more hangers. Although I had a great stay my friend who was in the male room told me that the toilets were dirty and some behaviours of the other guests made him feel very uncomfortable.

The hostel is in a really nice and calm area. Staff is very nice & breakfast good, too. The rooms & especially the bathroom are not really clean. Provided towels & bedsheets have (blood) stains. You have to make your bed yourself on arrival, which was a bit annoying since we arrived very late at night and didn’t want to wake up the other roommates. No privacy in the room as the beds have no curtains that can be closed. Some inappropriate behavior of other guests. The clientele of the hostel was not as international and open as I’m used to as a backpacker, as most of the guest seemed to be local workers and on long-term stays.

It was just down the street from the Frida Kahlo Museum, exactly what I was looking for! I’ve never stayed at a hostel before. It wasn’t a grand 5 star hotel but it was clean, safe and the staff and the other guests interacted closely and were quite friendly! Totally different type of experience that I would do again. The next time I go to Mexico City I’ll stay longer and really get a good visit in and stay at this hostel. I highly recommend it! The pillow was flat. That was it! Bring an extra one if you need it.
