Beware the pictures advertising the hotel. The exterior shot is taken from the backyard with a lens that makes the grounds look huge and lush. The real exterior is a residential street, the hotel name in small letters next to an average door, next to a garage door.

Everything

Location, breakfast, friendly staff, coffee and water station, beautiful and serene garden.

Great location in Coyacon. Nice staff. Spacious rooms Outdoor space. Spacious rooms. Nice breakfast.
-
Great location, walking distance to everything in town.
-
The breakfast was a bit limited.

The location was great - we loved Coyoacan and this was very convenient. Sitting in the yard was a treat, and the breakfast selections were very good. Staff member Fernanda was wonderful - always friendly and helpful! Overall, a beautiful building. Our room was very dark (no natural light and rather dim/small lamps)...Although Fernanda was wonderful, we didn't receive the same level of hospitality when she was not on duty.

The location, Boutique small hotel and very cozy, charming. Private, nice friendly staff, good breakfast The picture on the website doesn’t reflect the exterior of the hotel. It is misleading since the garage is the outside view of the hotel

We loved everything, it’s just an oasis of peace in the best neighborhood. What a joy to stay there! The staff was wonderful. The food was amazing. The beds were so comfortable!

Staff, breakfast and location was awesome

Excelent location. Delicious breakfast. Very quiet at night. You have to look for parking around the neighborhood. Hot water was scarce at night.

My partner liked the breakfast a lot -- don't believe in eating before noon, personally. I loved the quiet setting, the large rooms; ours had an office and a balcony/roof access, which was great. And there was a jacuzzi in the back, and a workspace downstairs, with a massage chair. The place was decorated all over with alebrijes, which were very cool. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and fluent in English and willing to indulge my attempts to practice my Spanish. The toilet was old and beat up and not the best. The shower was the kind where you have to stand in the path of the water as you adjust the temperature from intolerable to tolerable -- did not enjoy. I know plumbing is one of the harder things to improve, but this was the one failing of the property.

The hotel is super well located, rooms are spacious and design is just perfect. Generous coffee and tea available, and a beautiful terrace too Reception is not always available, and some tourist and assistance could have been useful

I loved this place so much when I came in July that I came back a second time. Everything was just as perfect as it was before. The staff are kind and helpful. The hot breakfast is delicious. The neighborhood is beautiful, with plenty of nice restaurants and places to walk to. The subway is close, and is my preferred way to get to the center of the city. The hotel is beautifully decorated. The room (owl) was large, clean, and very comfortable. The coffee/tea/filtered water is a nice amenity.

We liked the Coyoacan area despite the distance from Roma and Condesa areas and appreciated the quiet street this inn is located on. Coming and going was easy with the pin pad. There is an excellent massage chair for guest use upstairs. We enjoyed the alebrije theme and the stories about what they represent. We liked this hotel but would book a different room next time with a nicer bathroom area and further from the front desk. Ours didn’t feel quite worth the price we paid, but we saw other rooms that were nicer so be sure to compare the rooms carefully.

When we left early in the morning it was almost impossible to close the main door and nobody was present to help us

Location! Coyoacan is, imo, the most pleasant district in Mexico! Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast was not as large you would expect from the description, but still OK
-
Location and design Bathroom- smell and humidity

I loved everything about this hotel! The decoration, the staff, the room, the breakfast, and the location! Would stay again 100%.

THE building, the location (walking distance to everything in Coyoacan) , the staff. THE terraces in the back yard (we ate breakfast out there everyday ?), the 24hr coffee/TEA bar (amazing), the delicious breakfast, the garage.......the feeling of coming home instead of a traditional hotel. Room floor was not clean when we arrived (had clumps of hair), chair was broken and I almost fell to the ground, there were hairs on the wall of the shower, etc....we talked to the staff and they took care of everything right away.
