Hotel Flamencos Centro Histórico

Friendly staff. Getting there was a challenge. Traffic is very bad .

Convenient location (<20 min walk to Zócalo, bodega around the corner, can get many places on Metro from the adjacent Pino Suárez station), outside noise is pretty minimal considering the busy location, kind and helpful staff, warm modern design, thoughtful lighting in room, comfortable bed (quite firm but we like it that way), good variety and quality of breakfast buffet, terrace restaurant with lovely view for convenient dining option. There was even a small but nicely equipped gym but we didn't have time to use it. It was just a wonderful experience all-around, and a perfect home base for our Mexico City explorations. Very minor things like the light on the A/C being a bit bright, sink drain a bit slow.

The location was great. It was very clean and smelled amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very attentive and helpful at breakfast. The front desk lacked in this area. I primarily travel solo as a woman. I have NEVER had a stranger open my hotel room before. It was 1:00 in the morning when two men opened my door and woke me out of my sleep. I yelled out and they did close the door and leave. However, it was completely unacceptable. I called the front desk and there was no answer. Naturally I had trouble sleeping after. I told them at the front desk the next morning (my checkout day) and all they said was “I’m so sorry” and locked my card without giving me a new one. I went upstairs to find I could no longer get in because they didn’t inform me. I just feel more should’ve been said or done for the incident. What happened shouldn’t have been possible.

The hotel was centrally located and quiet at night. The breakfast buffet was wonderful every morning with many options. Staff was attentive and helpful in all areas.

It was clea, close to the zocalo but didn't get to see it because of the world cup, friendly staff The room was mostly all wood, too much light in the room

A smaller very clean and modern hotel and an easy walk to transpo and the Zocalo Only one thing. The mattress is a bit firm for me. I will ask for a softer mattress when I return

I've stayed here for two trips in a row (twice this recent trip) and I absolutely love it! It's central enough to get to most of Centro easily. There's a metro station 350m from the hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They went the extra mile of keeping our large suitcases for us while we went to Oaxaca and Cabo, before returning for our last bits in Mexico City. I would forever recommend!

Great location. Clean, modern and comfortable. Fantastic roof/bar area. No comment.
