Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel was comfortable and the service from the staff was generally very good. We also had a positive experience with room service and the other services we used during our stay. Our main issue was the check-in experience at the front desk. We arrived at the hotel at around 10:00 AM and asked whether an early check-in would be possible. We were told that it was already being processed and that our room should be ready in about an hour. When we returned, after waiting in line again, a different staff member told us to wait another 40 minutes. We came back once more, again having to wait in a long line due to the busy season, only to eventually be told that early check-in was actually not available and that we would have to wait until 3:00 PM. We completely understand that rooms may not be available before the official check-in time. Our frustration was with the inconsistent information. Had we been told from the beginning that the room would not be available until 3:00 PM, we would have simply left our luggage with the hotel and used the morning and early afternoon for our activities instead of repeatedly returning to reception and spending a significant amount of time waiting in line. Better and more consistent communication from the front desk would have made a big difference.

Central location A lot of things were broken, not restocked, worn down. Clearly a place that it past its glory.

Amé mi visita a México. Todo me gustó pero para la próxima pediré una habitación con la vista justo al ángel de la independencia.

Just the location. Old rooms that SMELL BAD, broken aircons — requested to change rooms TWICE due to broken aircon and strong smell of paint. VERY UNFRIENDLY AND UNACOMMODATING receptionists, esp FRANCISCO. Gave us a bad room last night. Racist too— made racist remarks to the chinese guests checking in and not accomodating. No hospitality even if Ive stayed here for 14 days!

The noise was loud, I stayed on the 6th floor, and at times it was hard to sleep during the daytime to take a nap, so I was not able to do so. Take Uber; taxis are too pricey, and hotel transportation is up the room on price. Some facilities look as if they were updated, like the pool needs to be redone for the kind of hotel that it is. Also, disappointed there was no jacuzzi.
