Cons: The pool was closed, but this was due to a necessary service for "an incident" I didn't ask detail but probably glad that they took the additional measures. The gym was equipped but their was no cleaning solutions and no hand sanitizer at all. It appeared as if it wasn't even something that they provided.

Also, if you arrive early, and hope to get your room early, be prepared to pay $100 just for the few extra hours prior to actual check in time, and regardless of how many hours you’re early. A total rip off! Other than that, staff are nice, there’s food close by, just a few minutes walk away. Would I go back? I’m not sure. The shuttle thing is a problem for me. Oh and the uber”shuttle” trips start at 6:30am. If you have to be at the airport earlier, you have to figure it out in your own.

Although the hotels were very similar, the construction noise at the Miami location was nonstop throughout all three nights, starting early every morning. The noise appeared to be coming from the roof. We reported the issue to the front desk, but unfortunately, nothing was done to address it. For that reason, I’m giving the hotel 3 stars. The stay was otherwise fine, but the constant construction noise made our 3-night, 4-day stay far from pleasant.

The young man who checked me in welcomed me with a complimentary beverage from the market for my Birthday! He also gave me pertinent information for my first cruise! His act of kindness and stellar service was greatly appreciated. I also had a most delightful and informative conversation with Rodney at the bar. He found it inconceivable that one of his guests would celebrate their birthday at a mediocre "chain" restaurant, so he suggested a more refined establishment, which proved to be absolutely exceptional. It was a top-tier experience!! Thank you, Marriott for exceeding my expectations on my birthday! Not applicable to my stay
