AHD Rooms

We had a wonderful stay at AHD Rooms in Milan and would absolutely recommend it. The location is hard to beat—just steps from Piazza del Duomo, making it incredibly easy to explore the city on foot. The rooms are located inside a high-rise apartment building, and getting in was simple thanks to clear communication from the staff. We were greeted by a friendly host at check-in who was welcoming and accommodating throughout our arrival. We were upgraded to a king room, which was a great surprise. The room was modern, bright, and felt newly renovated with clean white finishes and contemporary furniture. The bathroom was by far the largest we experienced during our trip through Italy, with a spacious shower and plenty of room. Shampoo and body wash were provided, along with an espresso machine and complimentary bottled water. (There was no conditioner, so pack your own if that’s important to you.) The only downside was the bed, which was the firmest and least comfortable we slept on during our travels in Italy. The pillows were also quite thin. Thankfully, everything else about the room more than made up for it. One feature we really appreciated was the complimentary luggage storage after checkout. They also allowed us to use the restroom when we returned to collect our bags, which made our travel day much more comfortable. Overall, AHD Rooms offers an excellent combination of location, modern accommodations, and friendly service. If comfort of the mattress isn’t your top priority, it’s a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Milan.

More of a suite than an apartment

Marco and his staff went above and beyond to be helpful and welcoming. They showed they cared about our travel and accommodation needs. They took initiative to oversee that our stay was perfect, especially Marco. Even after we checked out, he made sure that our airport transportation was coming showing real care and concern. The location is superb. The room was spotless and well appointed. BTW: Wifi was included (not paid). Nothing. It was great. Know that this is a modern looking office/apartment building. It is easy to find and close to everything.

Lovely, clean, cozy, great located, and with amazing views internally and externally. The owner is super helpful and sympatic. It was a wonderful escape that felt like being in a second home. Very well taken of and very welcoming!

room was clean and modern. staff was nice and welcoming. the location is really great - 5 minutes from duomo and many other tourist attractions. the single bed room is literally a foot away from the reception area so you can hear when their phone rings. you are also placed in the highest foot traffic room. 2 of 3 nights i heard luggage being rolled past midnight which disturbed my sleep a bit. foresaw this being an issue and asked to change rooms but they only have one room like this. the staff fails to mention what a pulley thing does in the shower and apparently it's an emergency pulley. the front desk knocked on my door as i was getting ready to shower and i had to hastily put my clothes back on very confused. the bed is placed in a very tight space where a corner is exposed on a walkway that is barely 3 feet wide. i scratched my leg badly on the bed corner walking past it at night. in small rooms like this, normally bed is placed flush against a corner, but here they have space on both side of the bed (despite a single bed being only for one person?). shampoo and other shower needs is placed outside of the shower so you have to remember to get it before going into the shower? light system was confusing, which isn't something i never thought could ever be a problem in any room? (unclear which button/switch turns off which light. i often cycle through all of them before finding the right button.) the "hotel" is on a 3rd floor multi-purpose building. you have to lug your luggage up a few stairs to get to the elevator to the hotel, which was a bit unpleasant for me. the shower door, when opened widely, starts swinging into the porcelain sink and makes a very large jarring sound when hit. this happened twice to me and i was afraid i broke something every time. mini fridge was stocked with bottles that you had to buy. i would've like the ability to actually use the fridge myself...

The area is lively, safe, and full of great cafés and shops, including the beautiful Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II nearby. The convenience of having everything within walking distance really made the experience even better. N/A
