AC did not work well - mattress was not great

Location. Next to central few minuets walk. Very clean towels. Wide toilet with tub. Nice noise isolation. The floor is funny dirty. Sometimes the ac is smelly. The hotel is old. The ac not cooled enough.

I stayed at Hotel Soperga Milan for 6 nights, and overall, we had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent!!! It just a short walk from Milano Centrale Station, making it very convenient for trains, the metro, and exploring the city. The room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning the room every day. The staff were friendly, and everything went smoothly during our stay. Overall, Hotel Soperga is a clean, comfortable hotel in a fantastic location. Despite a few minor shortcomings, I would still recommend it to travelers looking for a convenient place to stay near Milano Centrale Station. There are a few areas that could be improved. The room did not have a kettle or complimentary bottled water, which would have been appreciated. Breakfast is also not included and needs to be purchased separately at the hotel's café. Another drawback was the air conditioning. During our stay, it appeared that only the heating system was operating, with the room temperature set to around 24°C. Unfortunately, the room still felt quite warm, and we were unable to make it cooler, which affected our comfort, especially at night.

It’s very easy to find from the station, clean, basic and comfortable. I paid €70 for a single room and at that price for the location it was very good value. There is bottled water in the rooms, available to purchase at €1.90 - not bad for hotel pricing and very welcome after a late arrival. The concierge at check-out was very friendly. Although it is air conditioned, I couldn’t bring the temperature down below 24/25 Celsius (I arrived in a heat wave, so this adjustment was very welcome). The welcome on the evening I arrived was very brisk and unfriendly. The bed was firm and basic. There were no in room facilities for hot drinks ( no kettle/coffee machine) and the bar is very basic, to buy a glass of white wine I had to purchase a half bottle of the only variety available and was only allowed a plastic glass as I wanted to retreat to my room.

Our bathroom was very modern but very narrow. One person at a time unless in the shower. Glass walls (fogged) on the walls except in front of the toilet.

Location within walking distance of the station and buses to the airports. Staff were helpful, even taking my bag to my room for me because of the steps involved (I was having trouble and limping). Steps in the lobby and corridors were difficult given I had sore feet and heavy bag, but I did get help. A jug in the room to heat water for tea would be nice.

Not to far (10min walking) from the main train station and buses to the airport. Clean room with everything we needed. The options for breakfast were limited.

Terrible experience—avoid this hotel. The only positive thing about Hotel Soperga is its location. Everything else was awful. My room was absolutely filthy. The carpets were stained and dirty, the walls were heavily marked, and the bedsheets were torn. To make matters worse, there was visible mold in the bathroom, and the shower door would not close all the way, causing water to leak. The air conditioning was practically non-existent. The average temperature in my room stayed at a miserable 26°C for all three days of my stay. I complained to the staff on the very first day, and again on the second day. They did absolutely nothing to fix the issue and never even offered me a different room. The customer service here is non-existent; the staff could not care less about their guests. The room was in terrible condition with torn bedsheets, stained walls, and a filthy, stained carpet. The bathroom had mold issues, and the shower door failed to close properly. On top of the cleanliness issues, the room was a sauna. The AC barely worked, and the room temperature averaged 26°C across my 3-day stay. I brought this to the attention of the staff on day one and day two, but they completely ignored the issue, offered zero fixes, and never offered a room change.
