Hotel Bulà

Central nice location for the hotel, close to a supermarket and other shops. Parking available right in front. The receptionist very friendly and happy to answer all our questions, she helped with explanations and the check-in process. Quiet hotel and the bar seemed popular with the locals. We were there for 1 night and it was good for our needs. Coming back in evening and getting ready for bed we discovered that the sheets had some blood stains on them. There was also a cockroach in the bathroom, which can happen but the bed sheets should never. The reception is closed after 10pm so we didn't announce it, just kicked the sheets off the bed. In the morning we wanted to put the lugagge in the car and talk to the receptionist but they were not available. One lady from the breakfast area didn't understand English and thought we were leaving without paying and the front door was closed at 10.30 am when the check out is supposed to start. Another man showed up, still no English and asked if we paid, we said yes and they finally opened the front door. It was an unfortunate situation and we were very upset that morning. If check-out is at 10.30 the receptionist should be there and front door should be opened.

The location was great, it was super close to the Bollate Centro Train Station where numerous lines connect you fast to the Milano Centrale train and metro station. I would usually have dinner at Bula's which was absolutely delicious and made with so much love by the restaurant Chef. The first night I arrived fairly late and I was very tired so the Chef made me a welcoming panini with mozzarella cheese and so much meat free of charge even though the kitchen was officially closing. In fact, the Manager, the Receptionist and the Chef had waited for me to arrive even though the Receptionist was closing at 10pm. They all made me feel at home as soon as I arrived, and just like only Italians know how to naturally do this, they made me feel welcomed and at home, just by asking: Hai mangiato? There is so much warmth in that question that instantly makes you feel welcomed, safe and at home. The following days I had dinner and their pasta and wine was exceptionally good. On the day of my check out, I have forgotten something valuable and the receptionist has immediately contacted me both through phone and e-mail to let me know about it. In other words, the facility was great, super new, clean and quiet. My room had a lovely view of the Bollate area all the while I was able to enjoy the calmness of the peripheral zone of Milano in general. Lastly, the location was fairly close to the train station, the staff was absolutely amazing and overall it was a great Bollate experience. N/A.

Good location quiet and has A/C Room was a little hot when I arrived but a/c works

Housekeeper doesn’t speak english, they clean the room without permission even with DO NOT DISTURB sign was on the door. There was a small kitchen but without cooking tools. The toilet has poor ventilation
