The view out off the Balcony The loud music construction sawing loud banging at 7am and unprofessional owner Roberto! 15 minutes after booking on booking.com I had a change of plans and Roberto refused to give a refund ?‍♀️

Very cozy bed and breakfast Construction prevented cab from going closer to hotel. Had to get tuk tuk 15€ to bring us from dropoff to hotel

Excellent location right in the old city close to beach and great views. Great staff and loved the breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Hotel is showing signs of wear and tear, with need for ongoing maintenance and repairs.

Bellavista suites location was perfect. I had Suite 1 with the sea view right on the edge of the city walls. I can’t fault this property. Service, cleanliness and location get top marks Nothing at all. All perfect

Location was excellent looking over the sea on our little balcony, breakfast was excellent on the roof top, bed was very comfortable. No on-site reception, room a bit cramped with steep stairs to enter and get to the roof top. Birds in the pool.

The property is located in the heart of this beautiful town. The views are stunning and it’s a little Mecca away from the hustle and bustle. Although there is no reception the team text is every day we’re always contactable and happy to help

The Staff Bath didn’t work

Close to shops and beach Pool was very warm and was too hot to enjoy

The AC didn’t keep my room cool and the pool chlorine was too high!

The breakfast is delicious, The morning breakfast staff and cleaning staff were very nice. The location is excellent. I have never written a negative review because truthfully in all my travels over the years (I travel several times/year), I have never had such a negative experience. The management is terrible, we had an emergency and had to leave one night early even though we paid the last night. They refused to reimburse me, even though I gave 24 hours notice they said they cannot rebook the room because it’s locked in to booking.com. I asked Booking.com for a refund they said to contact the property. As I was leaving I witnessed a staff member at the door of my room telling a customer our room would be ready soon!! So they double booked the room after lying to me, and refused to reimburse even the parking we didn’t use on the last night. About the room-The head of the bed is about 12 inches from a pocket door (yes, crazy but the door to the room from the common area is a pocket door and you can hear everything!). You cannot take a proper shower because there’s only a bath.

Central location Not enough shade on roof so breakfast was very hot. Breakfast was bought in from their sister hotel and each day seemed as if it was leftovers as was totally random and not what we had agreed on day one. No one present at the property so any issues ie (locked out of room) you have to wait for them to come from other hotel.

Exceptional

The place was in a great spot, and our room (king suite) had an incredible view from the balcony. The staff we very nice and accommodated anything we needed. Close to restaurants and right on the beach. Highly recommend this place for your stay in Monopoli. Whilst we coped and did get some help from one of the staff when leaving, be mindful that no cars can enter the old city, so if you have hired a car getting your luggage to the B&B can be a challenge particular when it is very hot if you dont get a parking spot near the entrance to the old part of the town.
