B&B DIMORA PALMIERI

Breakfast was amazing with fresh baked goods and regional foods daily. Not to mention the BEST coffee! The staff was warm, hospitable and knowledgeable about the area. We felt like we were staying with family.

Property was clean and charming in a quiet and charming location. The room was a little small but overall not an issue because we spent majority of our time outside.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience staying here. Filippo and Maria could not do enough for us and made us feel truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The B&B was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The breakfast every morning was outstanding. Filippo made sure we never started our day hungry. Each morning we were treated to different typical Pugliese muffins, cookies, and cakes, all delicious and homemade. There was also fresh bread with cheese and a variety of Italian cold meats, along with yogurt and granola. I heard him stirring and stirring something and then he walked out with this amazing cappuccino for my husband. They really put so much effort and care with what they do. What impressed us even more was their thoughtfulness. When we mentioned that we would be leaving very early one morning and would miss breakfast, there was a knock at our door that evening — Filippo had brought us delicious muffins and pastries for our trip. Their kindness and hospitality truly made our stay special. We cannot wait to come back and bring our adult children and their families. This B&B comes highly recommended. The only thing we didn’t like was that our stay was only 4 days which was too short ?

This is one of those B&B's you always remember and years later when you're recalling trips you say, "Remember that great B&B in Monopoli...." Our room was immaculate and tastefully decorated with a balcony overlooking a small square below. The roof top terrace was the perfect place to unwind. The location was ideal, right in the old town and close to shops and restaurants. The breakfasts served in the small square every morning by Fillippo were amazing. Nothing like a typical Italian breakfast - more like an American buffet breakfast! Not only was it generous but there was much variety and it was all so good! The last course with the sweet offerings from his mother's recipes or made by his wife, Maria, were worth every calorie! Fillippo and Maria are such gracious hosts. From the ease of communicating with them to the excellent information provided on arrival about the area of Monopoli, they are the perfect hosts. Everything was perfect!

Maria and Filippo were great attentive hosts starting with authentic breakfast each day through to helping me plan my visit to various cities and events.

We were very lucky and got an upgrade when we arrived. The room was very nice and clean with a nice small balcony. Filipo was a very nice host and his breakfast where amazing. The breakfast was so big we had to take some stuff to go. He also explained very well everything to do and how to go around during our stay. Nothing

Everything was fantastic, from the breakfasts (which were excellent), the room (spacious), the bed (so comfortable), the sun terrace (very sunny), the location (right in the heart of the old town) to the staff who were fabulous, so friendly, generous and fun ... Filippo even brought us a box of cakes, the evening before we left, for us to enjoy on our train journey from Monopoli to Bologna as we could not get to breakfast due to timings. Thank you Filippo, Maria and Carolina, you all helped make Monopoli very very special ?? Leaving .... ?

I wasn’t aware that Monopoli had an “old city” — which is a large area that has the seafront. Once I got off the train in Monopoli I took a cab to the start of the old town - taxis and rental cars are not allowed into the old city - and then had to wheel my bags over the stone streets looking for the B&B. It was challenging, to say the least but it is a stunning city with narrow, cobbled streets hosting stores, restaurants, bars, etc. The DiMora B&B sits right in the middle of the best parts of the old city. Their welcome is genuine and they bend over backwards to make you feel at home. My room (traveling solo) was a gorgeous, high ceilings room with a small balcony. Everything was immaculately clean. The Wi-Fi was great and breakfast each morning was outstanding. A mix of local baked goods, cereals, fruits, yogurts and truly the best cappuccino! If you have any mobility issues, please be sure to let the B&B know about it in advance. There are a number of stairs to climb on most of their rooms and getting around the old city with large suitcases is tough.

Maria and Fillipo are extraordinary hosts. Their hospitality is everything you need to feel welcomed in Monopoli. The space is so inviting in a central location and the baked goods Maria makes for breakfast are so so delicious ?

super nice hosts that made all the difference. excellent breakfast, beautiful location, wonderful vacation. The BnB is located in the old parts of Monopoli, so you can (MUST!) walk everywhere, no cars, tiny alleys to get lost in... in the middle of everything but tucked away in a quiet corner. There really was nothing we did not like at all. We felt so welcome and enjoyed a great couple of days!

Spacious, clean and neat room in magical Monopoli. Friendly hosts Maria and Philipo eager to be helpful and gave a lot of information about things to see and suggestions for dining. Easy to walk around Monopoli. For travel into interior destinations of Puglia be sure to book taxi day before needed.
