Buonamico Wine Resort

The staff was friendly, the pool area was incredible, the view was gorgeous, and the rooms were super comfy. We reserved two nights at the on-site restaurant, and a tour and tasting of their wine. Highly recommend both! I like everything about you was something to set your shampoo on in the shower.

Location, very friendly staff

I really enjoyed our staying, the view was incredibile, the room was big, i liked that the bathroom had 2 sinks and plenty of space, the food was great. It's not related to the hotel, but the location is quite far from many sights unless you rent a car. One annoying thing is the problem with the wifi which works quite slowly; but it didn't bother us that much because we didn't come for the phones. We had a problem with the thermostat and the only thing that bothered us a little is that after a certain hour there is no one at the reception and in case you have a problem you really don't have anyone to contact. One of the waiters at the hotel restaurant (the older gentleman) was a bit uptight and made us feel bad, otherwise absolutely all the staff - at the reception, the young waiters, the recommended driver, the cleaning lady - everyone was wonderful.

Very relaxing The wellness center was closed, no service until afternoon. We arrived early & no one to greet, restrooms etc.

The resort is good , clean, large room et large storage, restaurant very good Location neat lucca but we need a car ,there not a place to make running or quiet walk , no running paths

Location, restaurant, winery & particularly the staff Balcony in need of power washing. Safe did not work for majority of the 4night stay (although properly safe was offered not particularly useful as reception only open part-time

The room was big and the view was amazing! We booked the place in order to enjoy the spa the restaurant and to book a massage. Non of the above was available. We were informed that the spa is under renovation and they the restaurant is closed. When we complained we were told that we booked last minute. Which I hardly disagree. As we were deserve to know this crucial information ahead.

I had an outstanding experience at this resort. The customer service was exceptional—always helpful, friendly, and available during working hours. The room was stunning, offering a spectacular view, and the breakfast was excellent. Everything was perfect. The sunrises from this hotel are simply spectacular, and the room was incredibly comfortable. It was unfortunate that the spa was out of service on the day we visited, and we couldn’t use it, but this didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment. We had a wonderful stay and will certainly keep this hotel in mind for our next trip to Tuscany. One suggestion I have is to improve the visibility of the hotel from the road. Being located at the top of a hill (with no lights on the road) makes it difficult to find, especially at night. Adding a well-lit sign at the entrance with the hotel’s name would greatly help future guests.

Beautiful place, big nice rooms

Loved the venue. Had a lovely spacious bedroom and large bathroom- ticked many boxes! Restaurant was delightful- food excellently cooked and presented. Breakfast on our terrace was good. We would have preferred going to the restaurant but a small thing in the overall experience. If in the area we would rush back here! Staff were exceedingly helpful and arranged a taxi to go up to Montecarlo for dinner. Taxi was expensive- 20 euros each way for a 5 minute drive. Think they had to come from Lucca . Just would have preferred breakfast in the restaurant- but as I said a small thing that didn’t hinder our overall delight at this hotel.
