Palazzo Danesi

I had to walk 20 minutes across town to get the keys. However, the hostess did drive us from that location back to the villa. I had to walk 20 minutes across town to get the keys. I think having the hostess meet us there at a specific time would’ve been nice.

Location was amazing, beautiful interior and great hosts. bit noisy, but to be expected since it's right in the centre

The check-in staff (at a separate location, 6min drive away) and the information they provide is extremely helpful. The location of Palazzo Danesi is great - you can quickly get to Piazza Grande for early morning photos before the hoards of tourists arrive! The mice, the temperature and the paper-thin walls between apartments. Mice ran across the floor three times over as many days. Our apartment was really cold and apparently central heating isn't turned on til November - the owner did remedy this, but begrudgingly. You can hear every conversation of people in neighbouring apartments. Although big, there really isn't anywhere to relax comfortably - the space is filled with a lot of old, musty, rickety furniture.

The location was perfect! We actually had another hotel booked but the location was poor and we luckily found Plazzo Danesi. It was charming and cozy. The bed upstairs was not comfortable

I thought liked the location until I couldn’t sleep because until 3 am loud people walk into and out of the area below our windows talking loud. Bring ear plugs and they help some but not enough. Very noisy. No real lock on your door. It is the kind used to close a curio cabinet. No air conditioning.

Staying in a palace room is great! Felt like going back in time, but there was a good modern shower. Hosts had good information and let me leave my bag after checkout. Room was cold at night. No visible heating apparatus. I usually like it cold at night, but this was really cold and no heat.

I made the mistake of not reading the entire check in instructions before I got there and they came all the way there to drop off the keys! Lovely staff!! Quiet in the room, in the center of town. Truely a steal!

Fabulous location in Montepulciano. We stayed in apartment Madame Elena which had great decor, good shower, incredibly comfortable beds.

Was close to all the sites, spacious room, close to very good restaurants and wine tasting.

Loved everything about this place. Great location and charming little room. The entire experience was great! Martha, who hosted us when we arrived was very helpful with tips of where to go and how to get there.

Easy to pick up keys and find the apartment. Great video info to show access . Also car park just up the road outside the walled city, but easy access from details provided by very helpful young lady ( sorry didn’t catch name) comfortable bed and quiet from around 11 pm till 8-8.30 ish remember this is within a working/ tourist zone so normal very light traffic and people walking past as our apartment was on the front of the building , but they have several options . Definitely would stay again . Nothing to not like.
