Holiday Inn Express Montgomery - East I-85 by IHG

Room was clean and comfortable. Didn’t use amenities. Breakfast closed at 9:30. We were eating and they just shut it down without asking if we wanted anything else.

When I arrived there was a WiFi outage. The AC and WiFi were not working. Eventually after a few tries they were able to get my room cool. Not sure if the WiFi came back or not. The hotel was clean. But there were no frills. It is a very basic stark room. If you’re ok with that, then all will be well.

I have been trying to get in touch with the hotel ever since I left and have not been able too. I need a receipt for my stay. Please contact ne

I like how the staff member handled my situation getting me out of room 1 and upgrading my room to a suite when room 1 was infested with gnats, and ants. Room 2: This room was very nice in that it was layed out nice, and had a nice view outside. I loved the shower and the supplies in the bathroom. They had hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Plenty of towels was provided. My first room after I got settled in I noticed gnats and ants. At first I was going to try to stick it out, but once I got in bed, I noticed they were crawling in bed as well. I took a video and showed the staff. He initially told me they were booked and couldn't move me, and offered me linen to change the bed, which he tried to contact management to see what needed to be done to accommodate. Then he went up with me and saw for himself and he said this is unacceptable and I'll be right back with a key to another room. He handled it with. Room#2 I was upgraded to a suite, and it was nice. However, the AC was only in the bedroom portion and the sitting area was hot as a result of that. Additionally, the refrigerator had an odor, and the room itself had an odor. Luckily, I always travel with air freshener, so I was able to handle that.

Awesome experience with great complementary breakfasts.

I booked this hotel in error and requested a refund. I never checked in but I was some how checked in by the hotel and a refund was not given. Not even a partial refund. I booked through Expedia and they couldn’t even get me my refund.

Easy access

I stay here every year on my way to New Orleans. The staff has always been very helpful, the rooms are clean, there is a complementary breakfast, and the property is conveniently located just off I-85 before you reach Montgomery.
