The staff were friendly and efficient The noise from the street outside. It was a French holiday and young people were partying with loud music . It woke us up at 3.00 am for two hours. We thought about asking to change rooms but figured it was a one off. Little did we know the bin men and other lorrys would be making a worse noise at 6.30 the next morning. There is an easy way for this hotel to improve their customer experience- install secondary glazing to the windows facing on to the back alley.

Location Directions provided took me to another Ibis Hotel. I guess it happens quite a bit since the wrong hotel had a pre printed map directing us to the correct location.

Breakfast was very good. Continental breakfast but with excellent fresh food including French cheese, cold cuts and the most delicious croissants. The tea selection was also surprisingly luxurious. Loose leaf teas from Palais Des Thés - the organic rooibos was delicious. The hotel also offers daily room cleaning which I find is becoming less common even in more higher rated brands. Very pleased with this. The reading light next to my bed had a fault. When turned off, it would create a high pitched humming sound that would only stop when the light was turned on. It made sleeping a bit challenging but I got used to it after the first night. The room lighting overall could be improved. The room was dark even with all the lights on. The placement of the lights was a bit unusual with no central light bulb to bring light to the centre of the room.

It was air conditioned! And clean and there was space! Great value for money and head and shoulders above the other hotels I’ve stayed at during recent trips. Nothing

Location was excellent, which was a huge plus. Breakfast had a good selection. Small fruit flies on some food stuff though. Car park was difficult to get to (barriers on many access road). Room decor was very clinic and toiletries were very basic.

Clean, comfortable, and well-maintained accommodations. The room had everything needed for a pleasant stay, and the overall experience was excellent. I would gladly stay here again. One area for improvement is the late check-in process. I arrived after 10:00 PM and found the entrance locked. No one responded to the buzzer, which made accessing the property more difficult than expected. Clearer instructions or a more reliable after-hours entry system would help create a smoother arrival experience for guests.
