Perfect 1860s mansion in a very pleasant, central location. Very comfortable bed. Helpful host, excellent breakfast. The bathroom was shared, but that was clear when I booked and to be expected of an old manor.

Gingerbread Manor was just lovely! Exactly what I was looking for in a B&B. The home itself is gorgeous, warm, inviting and comfortable! The hosts were a lot of fun and it was great to meet other travelers at breakfast. I loved it; exactly what I wanted.

Very well located, excellent value, great communication, breakfast yummy, no one leaves hungry and the hosts delightful, funny and helpful. Regards the room: pillows and mattress super comfortable, individual heat/ac controls with ample clothes and personal item storage: and a robe for shared bathroom thoughtful; bathrooms very well appointed with extras include mouthwash, body lotion, cotton balls and pads, water glasses. All very clean. Highly recommended. Quaint and well located in neighborhood area, easy access to public transportation and walking distance to many attractions, restaurants and parks

I loved the breakfasts that the hosts made and served. They were very friendly people and offered flexible drop-off for luggage before and after check-in and check-out times. The house was beautifully decorated and the room was very comfortable and cozy. It was easy to get to multiple places around the city from there, by walking or bus.

The breakfast was pretty simple and a bit disappointing. The rooms were very hot and they were unable to fix this problem We opened the window and that helped a bit. Too hot!
