Friendly staff, accommodation has character, nice breakfast. Lack of parking.

Staff was very nice. Room was clean and nice. Very small and humid bathroom, small and not so comfortable beds, uncomfortable pillows. Air conditioning functioned regularly, it was not possible to control it from the room. On Saturday morning there was no whole-grain bread left for the breakfast, although it was especially mentioned in the breakfast menu.

The quirkiness and style of hotel was great. Staff very welcoming and helpful with good selection for continental breakfast each morning. Great location around 5 min walk to metro and close to lovely neighbourhoods with local restaurants and bars . I found the mattress hard but the pillows were great .

Very helpful staff; great breakfast with many options; the property was beautiful

Excellent location, very close to metro stations and transit routes to make it easy to get around the city. The building itself it incredibly charming and full of character. The breakfast area, and the effort the staff put into preparing the continental breakfast and keeping everything well stocked, was a highlight. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room itself wasn’t anything special (basement room) and lacked air conditioning, but the fan worked alright and we were comfortable enough.

I can’t praise this locally run hotel enough. If it’s one of the big chains you want then this hotel is not for you. It’s classy; atmospheric; great continental breakfast; clean; helpful staff and just a 20 minute walk to the Old Town. Nice room but right at the top - with suitcases not easy!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Great location Little bit noisy from traffic on the street as our room faced the street. Beds not as comfortable as many other places I’ve stayed.

Fantastic location and the loveliest staff. Everything from check-in process, to the room was absolutely perfect. It was super close to all main attractions. It's not a luxury hotel, but if you go in with the right expectations it's absolutely fantastic and far exceeded my expectations. The hotel was excellent for our city break. There's nothing at all I would change.

It’s quite a quirky set up and layout which we really liked. Our room was down sone quite tricky stairs which could have been problematic if you had any mobility issues. The room was exceptionally well equipped with kitchen area, multiple appliances and a day bed. There was no kettle, which I missed, however the are where you have breakfast is open all day (and night?) for tea and coffee. There is also a wine vending machine though this requires a member of staff to assist. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The hotel is located about a 25 minute walk to the river which suited us fine - though uphill on the way back. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Nothing really n

A nineteenth century wee-preserved house. Lots of character. Big continental breakfast included. Diren and all staff were excellent.

Friendliness of staff. They were very approachable. The only thing we would provide feedback about is that the hotel didn't have a left which can be difficult if somebody couldn't go up a stairs.
