The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. N/A

The staff were wonderful and helpful My particular room was quite small, and there were no robes in my closet. The exposed bathroom sink and shower created a less than intimate feel-I was glad I was a solo traveler.

The lobby is great, as is the second floor restaurant. The breakfast was expensive, but good. The front desk staff were accommodating, but there was a clear disconnect between the front of house staff and housekeeping, which caused issues for us. I felt the room did not live up to the "luxury" that Le Germaine is known for. While it was nice, it did not feel like much of an upgrade from a boring mainstream chain hotel. I had requested a bath weeks in advance, and arrived late at night to a room without a bath, and a view of a concrete wall 15 feet away. We were staying 4 nights, and asked to change rooms, which they were able to accommodate the next day. The room switch itself was annoying, because I had to continuously check with the front desk rather than them setting a clear expectation with me - which I believe was due to a disconnect between the front desk and housekeeping teams. During the time I was waiting for the new room to be cleaned, housekeeping asked me twice to clean my current room.

The location in central, the lobby and bar are cool and staff is generally professional. The overall cleanliness of the room was quite disappointing. There were dead flies and mosquitoes on the floor that remained there even after daily housekeeping. The toilet room also had an unpleasant smell, seemingly caused by a combination of poor ventilation and inadequate cleaning. The breakfast staff seemed distracted, and service was generally slow and inattentive.

Location, staff were great. Room (2 queen beds) was huge and spacious for a family of 3. We loved our stay. If I'm nit picking, the buffet breakfast hot food was a bit cold, but you get that.

Comfortable rooms, accessible to conference centre and city centre. The quality of the breakfast didn’t match the rest of the hotel offerings.

Location was great Day time front desk Christina was lovely We were moved 2 times during 5 night stay 1st, the family suite, the room didn't have a shower door and had a completely transparent and open space layout 2nd, limited availability so we had to move again the last night, to a smaller room, same cost, sofa bed was not ready till 11 p.m. when asked front desk's help, there was no rush and the answer was, they will bring up the bedding, all we can tell you. Empty bottle under the couch. Rude responses

Wow! Where do I start? From check-in to check-out, we had a 10/10 fantastic stay. All the employees from the front desk, doormen, maintenance people, and bar staff were welcoming and genuine. We LOVED the rooms. They are spacious, luxurious—yet chic, with super comfortable beds. The location was super with access to both walking options to the main sights as well as the metro. The best part might be that you get this level of service and comfort from a Canadian and family-operated company hotel group with a commitment to sustainability. This is really the best of Canadian hospitality. We stayed as part of our anniversary trip, and would highly recommend this for couples looking for a hip, local, and comfortable downtown stay. The restaurant doesn't have enough vegetarian options, so we didn't dine in.
