Hotel Avisa

Great place to stay as walking distance to shops and restaurants but far enough so it’s quiet. Rooms clean and nice that extra sink is outside the bathroom. Only downfall our king size bed/ room a view of parking lot

The bathtub drain wasn’t working. It took forever for the water to drain. Even after the staff was informed about it nothing was done. I paid almost 300$ for a single night and had the most terrible experience.

Wonderful stay. Great rate for a balcony view of Morro Rock. Walking distance to everything. We will return over and over again. Loved it!!

Me and a couple of my friends stayed here for our last trip of the summer before school started back up. All I can say is wow! Checking in was a breeze and the staff that helped me was so sweet! We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

one of the best hotels we have stayed at. staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was excellent. very close to the waterfront. would definitely stay here again.

Property is in a good location with adequate parking. General maintenance was not good. Holes in the walls not patched/painted. Toilet seat very loose. Ice machine rusting and corroded. Refrigerator did not work. We will look elsewhere next time we visit MorroBay.

Room comfortable… but basi

My hubby and I always celebrate our anniversary in Morro Bay. We like to choose different hotels each year. We've had great hotels and not so great hotels. I would put Avisa as one of the great hotels! The staff, Cameron and Heather, are so personable, kind, helpful, and funny. The room was clean and the balcony allowed us a perfect view of the rock. I definitely give this hotel and the staff an enthusiastic 5 stars!

The room was clean, comfortable, and had a balcony with a lovely view of Morro Rock. Rooms have been nicely renovated, so it's nicer inside than it looks from the outside. There was convenient parking under the building, and the hotel is a short walk to the waterfront and downtown area. Staff was helpful. No breakfast is available at the hotel, but it is an easy walk to several good places for breakfast. My only gripe is that the remote control provided for the TV doesn't really work well with the TV system ... navigation is very un-user friendly. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay.

Pleasant

Location, close enough to downtown for a walk. The pillows were a bit flat. The gym did not have water refill station.

The room was clean and spacious, it looked like nicely renovated and modernized. We will stay there again.

I LOVED the location. Also felt very safe in the area and it was very accessible for all the restaurants and shopping. The staff were exceptional and even the parking was easy. The only complaint we honestly have is it could have used a little more cleanliness. The room wasn’t too bad, it was the stairs going up to our room that was a bit of a turn off.

Our room was on the second floor. The people upstairs were very noisy and the sliding door opened to the parking garage which was also very noisy. The hotel was conveniently located near the downtown. Everything was in easy walking distance. The Tesla supercharger was only 2 blocks away. The hotel had one functional EV charger but it was very expensive. The other charger was out of order.

Well-located and comfortable beds. The car park was an added bonus. We requested 2 rooms near each other, which we were given, but both rooms overlooked the car park without any view at all. Pretty disappointing. A few little things, like our bathroom didn’t have any hair conditioner and one of the bedside lamps didn’t work.
