Newly opened in September 2019, the Munich Deluxe Hotel is located near the Theresienwiese (Oktoberfest venue), a 10-minute walk from Munich Main Station and a 15-minute walk from Karlsplatz/Stachus square. It is a 5-minute walk from the ZOB (central bus station) as well as suburban and underground train stations. The small but fine rooms feature air conditioning, free WiFi a USB connection, a large flat-screen TV, fridge and a safe. A varied breakfast buffet with orange juice, fruit, cereals, various breads, as well as Bavarian specialties (Obazda spread and pretzels) is provided daily in the neighboring Hotel Munich City. The reception and hotel bar is also located in the neighboring Hotel Munich City and is open 24 hours. The bar offers a wide range of drinks, both alcoholic and soft drinks, as well as specialty coffees from the world-renowned Segafredo roastery. The hotel is also directly opposite the Forum Schwanthalerhöhe shopping center. It contains over 100 shops as well as numerous cafes and restaurants. A limited number of underground parking spaces is also available nearby for a surcharge.

The location was good We booked a Double Room, but the staff initially gave us the smallest room available. After we complained, they moved us to a better room, but the AC in that room didn't work either, and we ended up cutting our stay short. The staff promised a full refund. However, Booking.com came back saying they couldn't reach an agreement with the hotel, without making much effort on our behalf. Overall, our experience with both the hotel and Booking.com was extremely poor, and we lost the full booking amount. Think twice before booking this hotel.

The only thing good about this place is that it was close to the train stations ambient and the table settings were so cute! Our waitress was amazing and very attentive! Mrs. Andrea is doing a wonderful job running it! The food was a solid 10/10! The potato dumplings were so soft and the gravy on top just made them melt perfectly! The bratwurst with sauerkraut was also really amazing!! You really do get the traditional Bavarian feel of the restaurant if you eat here!

The room was a good size, the bathroom was modern and clean. The air conditioning didn’t work. We specifically booked this hotel for the air conditioning. It blows air out, but it isn’t cooled. The staff were not helpful.
