Microtel Inn by Wyndham Murfreesboro

The hotel is very rundown and dirty. There was hair all over the bed. Clearly the sheets were not clean. The top blanket was covered in stains. The calk is covered in mold. Ceiling is peeling in multiple places. If you just need a place to sleep it seemed safe but definitely dirty

For the price the room was fairly decent was disappointing to find there’s no pool. The bathroom was in poor condition. The tub had cracks in in. The grout was in poor condition some of it was repaired and some of it was old, when it would’ve taken the same time to strip it all and make it all new. The sink counter and the piece under it was separated with 2-3 inch gap. The pillow were old and flat and they provided 3 pillow for 2 people.

Super convenient to where I needed to be The entrances into the room are very small. I had to turn sideways to fit between the shelves that they have the fridge and microwave on and the wall, even though there was plenty of room to have it on the other side. My suitcase barely fit through. There is no enclosed drawers for essentials which made me have to keep my undergarments and such in my suitcase that had very minimal room to open without blocking some of the room’s functionality. The TV was also an issue. The screen itself was blue regardless of what you were watching and did not have service half the time. No storms or anything to impact it. The WiFi was also weak requiring me to log back into it several times while attempting to complete my work. I also had to ask for my linens to be changed and my trash to be taken out on my 2nd day there because the trash cans are barely large enough to fit a takeout box. Also they don’t wipe down the walls….. I found a bloody booger at eye level and almost lost it along with trash underneath of the bed when I looked under it to find something I dropped.

Good location but no breakfast as advertised

Clean, comfortable and upgraded breakfast offering. Way better than the week before at Microtel in Champaign Illinois. Check in was a bit cumbersome and slow. Not sure if it was the computer or the young lady at the front desk.

Price No oven. No pots and pans. No utensils. Kitchen was basically useless except for the microwave. Need blackout curtains.

Location to shopping and restaurants Parking was really small and tight

The location was ideal. The staff was okay, the supply of stuff in the bathroom was ehh, the beds and pillows were uncomfortable, and the fridge leaked and got all my stuff wet.

The price was decent...cheaper if you booked online. The room was decently clean. The bathroom baseboards were dusty, but the floor, toilet, and tub were clean. The bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was sufficient, but does not exceed expectations. There was cereal, a few muffins, waffles, bagels, only 2 containers of yogurt, apple juice only, coffee, apples, and you could make hot chocolate or oatmeal but there was no hot water available. The baseboards in the bathroom needed wiped. And, the price available to book a room online was less than walk-up and the process had to be completed online. I sat in the lobby and even though I indicated online I would pay in person, I had to enter my credit card number and then present my card to the clerk.
