Our 7-day, 6-night stay was unfortunately very disappointing. We had been looking forward to this vacation, especially since it was our first in two years. Check-In Experience At check-in, the front-desk representative directed all greetings and questions toward my husband and appeared to assume he had made and paid for the reservation. I eventually had to ask her to speak with me aswell as I was also a guest. She did then make an effort to include both of us, but there was no acknowledgment or apology. Regardless of who makes the reservation or pays, both guests should be treated with courtesy and respect. I found the initial interaction particularly disappointing as a woman and guest. Cleanliness & Maintenance The pools appeared very dirty. Our bathroom was also in poor condition—the ventilation fan did not work, making the room extremely humid after showers. The toilet had brown spots, there were stains behind it that I had to clean before we could comfortably use it, and the ceiling was peeling. The elevators had a strong, rancid odor that was extremely unpleasant. Communication We were given a text line to use for assistance. After rating our stay a 2/5, we explained our concerns by text when we couldn’t take a phone call, but received no response. The next day, I texted requesting tissues and toilet paper and again received no response. One night, a fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, disrupting our sleep. When I

Micheal at the front desk was fantastic and helped our family out after having bad flights before getting in. Made us feel relaxed and comfortable. He knew the area very well and recommended a great restaurant right down the road. If we ever come back to myrtle beach we would definitely stay again!

Great location, right on the beach, great breakfast, great restaurant! Rooms and property are clean. Will definitely stay here again.

The property overall was great! Pools, lazy rivers, kid area, undercover shaded area pool/spa was awesome. The pool bar closing at 5pm in the summertime was a little ridiculous. The pool towels were always empty/unavailable. During the End of Summer steel drums event they ran out of food before lunch even started.

It might be a good idea to ensure that all those that enjoy the complimentary breakfast are in fact guests of the hotel.

Thanks for the excellent service.

My daughter and I had a great stay! If we are ever in Myrtle Beach again, we will definitely return to this hotel.

The room could use some serious updates, however the bed was in great condition. Most of the staff were great but I encountered two ladies who were definitely in the wrong business. The young lady at the ice cream shop was very rude, eye rolling and impatient with my elderly mom. And a housekeeper was rude to us because I made a comment that the foul smell was gone, from the previous day. I was completely praising the cleaning someone had done and she, the housekeeper jumped straight down my throat and refused to let me explain what I was talking about. Probably won’t stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, great ocean view, courtesy staff. Love this place!

That it is easy access to the beach and boardwalk. The room is too cramped and parking space is so tight, can’t even get out when parked. Not worth $100 fee.
