Sandy Beach Oceanfront Resort

Overall I had a pleasant time.

Manque un peu d’amour mais confortable. Le matelas du lit escamotable devrait être changé et derrière nettoyé. Il y avait un balais pas de porte poussière. Le drain du bain bouché. Il y a un four sans mitaines pour prendre les plats chauds. Sinon dans l’ensemble c’est bien. La vue est magnifique. Nous étions au 9e étage parfaitement bien situé

Sandy beach resort is one of my favorite places to stay in Myrtle Beach my family loves that it steps away from the ocean and only a few blocks away from the boardwalk it was a well needed vacation we’ll be back soon

My room was excellent! I booked the smaller 500 sq. ft. room, and it was spacious, beautiful, and looked recently renovated. I even had an ocean view, although I did not book an oceanfront room. Everything was clean, comfortable, and worked perfectly. For the price, the quality was amazing. I truly loved my stay and will definitely be coming back! ❤️

Exceptional

Room was dated showing heavy wear on the room and furniture. Ourselves and many othe guests had to continually get roomkeys reactivated. Room was well air conditioned and large. Hotel was right on the beach with showers to rinse off the sand. Tons of free parking in their dedicated lots.

great balcony view of the ocean. Front desk let us move up 5 floors, which had better ocean viewing and more privacy from the pool area. The rooms were sufficient, considering we only slept in it, but i wish they'd clean the AC filter, it was pretty gross! They do provide kitchen accessories, just not pans that i saw. place is very clean, free parking across the street along with a "Corner Store" and a 6 minute walk to the Boardwalk. The price per night was also spot on. Definitely a good value. all in all, we'd stay again

the rooms were very nice. the view off the balcony was amazing. the staff was very friendly and helpful. they were quick to respond to my questions or concerns. it was overall a very good stay. the family was pleased with the beach access and pool area.

Great location clean room nice staff

I really liked the stay, however my kitchen was missing salt peper pots, I requested but never get it. The pools were great, the area was ok, but if y have a car you are fine or if you like to walk. Whoever loves the beach that’s your place.

Clean and ocean front room

Ok let’s start by saying the resort is in a sketchy area, near central Myrtle. Definitely don’t be out walking around with your kids much after dark. There are homeless drug addicts walking around pretty much all day as well. The vibe just outside the hotel is similar to a ghetto spring break with people speeding along the strip blasting their music. There are things for kids to do like getting henna tattoos and ice cream treats. We made the best of it and were able to have fun with our family by swimming in the ocean and hanging out on the beach. As for the room there was enough space for our family of five with a Murphy bed in the living room that pulled down out of the wall, but the beds were not comfortable. The room was dirty and outdated, water damage in the bathroom from a leaky shower head, and the kitchen appliances barely worked. A neighbor across the hall decided to bring their yappy dog that barked non stop for the first 4 hours after we checked in. The hotel staff eventually kicked them out after about 5 hours after we complained but they weren’t in a rush to do so. We are used to much nicer hotels in our previous vacations and would not recommend this hotel at all. If you are on a tight budget and don’t mind lowering your expectations this might be an ok option. Everything is super expensive and the food in the area is mediocre at best with a 5 star dining price. Beware most restaurants add the 20% tip without telling you so pay attention.

The toilet was too low. Not a standard toilet.

The room and the view were nice. We liked the pool area too but the walls were thin and it was very noisy all night long. Most of the staff were not very friendly. Housekeeping refused to give us shower towels so we called the front desk for some. After a couple of hours of waiting, we had to physically go to the front desk to get some.

Some of the staff were very unfriendly!! Can hear everything from other rooms. Literally didnt get one good night's sleep the whole week due to being able to hear the next door rooms balcony door open and close. It was so loud and continued all night long.
