Santiago Guesthouse Naha - Hostel

I was here also in November last year. The toilet door is still not repaired. Way too many lights need to have the bulb changed. There is still some rubbish outside that I also saw there back in 2024. There is only one, 1, teaspoon in the kitchen. The standard is going down every time I visit.

The cubicle bed was larger than I thought, very comfortable and quiet. The common space was well maintained and the bathroom was very clean. Located walking distance from two monorail stations and a range of izikaya restaurants of various levels. Super market down the road. Lockers not included. You have to leave a deposit to use the locker which is returned but only in cash which is an issue if your flight is before the reception opens

Workers were hit or miss. One night very helpful, the other kind of rude. The sheets were also clean one night, but stained another night that I stayed here.

Float to the terminal but a bit far from Naha center

Facilities are good and price are great.

Centrally located, friendly staff, comfortable enough beds with outlets to charge things. Shower rooms had a dry space to put items. Room and showers were clean. Lounge area was a bit messy.

I liked the beds they were very comfortable ☺️ The kitchen was very nice, Tatami mat living room was also really good. Easy and convenient check-in and Check-out system. Very close walking distance to supermarket, Konbini and Kokusai-dori. Definitely the best hostel I've stayed in Naha, Okinawa

The people and the kitchen quality. The rooms have weak, hallow wooden walls with little or no sound dampening and every sound is amplified. Tough to sleep sometimes and easy to be disturbed.

I loved my time at Santiago. The staff was very helpful. Especially the girl at the front desk. I broke my phone while staying there and she assisted me in finding a store to buy a new one. The place was incredibly comfortable and the common area was a great place to meet friends and relax. Overall it was an amazing experience!

Very noisy/slamming doors. Would be nice to add something to quiet it out.

Friendly staff, friendly people, everything was very clean and orderly and I loved the design of both the sleeping halls and the common area. It felt like a very immersing experience with the Japanese culture! :) would def recommend for anyone looking for great value for money The beds are very tricky to figure out as a foreigner! But I guess that’s part for the experience too

I stayed here for several bookings and had a great experience each time. It's clean, comfortable, and has a great kitchen. the location is excellent for hanging around NaHa. None

The location was great. It was super easy to find, and the host was very flexible with us. The privacy of the beds was super nice. I liked the private bathrooms and showers too. I wish the trash had been changed more often. Also, there wasn't very much room for luggage. Lots of people left their things lying around which made me wary.

Great location and friendly staff as well as fellow guests. Everyone was pretty respectful and it was nice to stay in one of these places where you have to "check out" at 11a but checking out doesn't mean taking everything out of your capsule as is the case at other hostels.
