They had a cappuccino machine, which was filled with ants. So when you dispersed a coffee, if you looked closely, you’d realize there are ants filled in it.

Well looked after by all staff we met. Good wifi connection. Excellent Thai restaurant and great atmosphere at the lounge on the first floor. Room was a good size with a very large comfortable bed. Hotel kept it's standardfs as I was there last about 10 years ago. The sweets at breakfast not very tasty. Took verty long for hot water to reach shower.

It was excellent

The staff were absolutely friendly. The rooms were absolutely breathtaking. Nothing.

The staff are amazing. It’s a wonderful walk into the history of Nairobi and you can see so much of it in the photos all around. The spa and pool were lovely to enjoy, Elan even got the steam ready with eucalyptus for me. and there are many places to eat and the exchange bar is really comfortable. Beds were comfortable too. Nothing. It was a great place to spend our last night in Kenya.

Feels like a 5 Star hotel Nothing to dislike
-
Lovely historical hotel in the centre of the city. Lovely breakfast. Staff were kind and welcoming
-
The hotel's central location was perfect for exploring, and the spotless rooms made my stay incredibly comfortable. I was especially impressed by the attentive staff and the delicious breakfast buffet, which offered a fantastic variety of fresh options. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi is limited to one device per room, which is quite restrictive and insufficient for modern travellers with multiple gadgets.

Pool, staff and meals George at Concierge was excellent NA

Location is at the centre of the city The toilet should have water jets.
-
The room was plenty large, kept immaculate, quiet and peaceful. There was not even one thing that I didn’t like

Wonderful staff. They truly are the best staff in Kenya! Excellent history. So much to learn from the photos on the walls and artifacts and staff. Delicious food. The breakfast was good but the dinner was excellent and also the Tai restaurant was good. Very clean room and facilities. No hidden dirt in our rooms, clean carpets. They take pride in making it clean. The room card reader kept malfunctioning. Beds not very soft, but none of them in Kenya really are.

Nothing

The facilities are great, from the business center to the gym, but the best part is the staff, always helpful and always happy. It will definitely be my first choice coming back to Nairobi
-
central location, lots of history, comfortable matrasses Lacking service orientation for a 5-star hotel - missing info on room service options, advertising late check-out without mentioning ridiculous charges, restaurants are overrated, ugly spots in the bathroom were just painted over; lots of maintenance and noise but never an excuse
-
The staff and securities were top-notch. The chef, Duncan Ndegwa, is so talented that his food will make you think about SARVOA. I liked everything.
-
The room is a little bit outdated. The shower is not very comfortable. Also, it was hard to find plugs that work in convenient places for charging the phones.
-
The old world charm of the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
-
There was no toothbrush in the room.
-
Central location in Nairobi CBD. Friendly, familiar staff. Excellent breakfast. Fitness center.
