The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, which created a positive first impression throughout my stay. The property is also very easy to access, even late at night, which adds a sense of convenience and security for guests arriving after hours. The rooms are impressively spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and move around comfortably. While the décor and furnishings are a little dated, the overall space and layout still contribute to a pleasant and comfortable stay. In the past, the property provided shower slippers, which were a practical and appreciated amenity. These are no longer available, and when I enquired, the duty staff advised that they are no longer offered and that bathmats are provided instead. However, a different staff member later mentioned that slippers can still be requested from reception, which created some confusion. Clear and consistent communication on this would be helpful for guests. Only one small bottle of water was provided in the room, which is not quite sufficient for guests arriving late at night, especially when shops are closed and there is no immediate access to additional drinking water. A slightly larger bottle or an additional one would make a meaningful difference to the guest experience.

Located in a shopping center, a bit scary to arrive at night

No breakfast. Restaurant wasn't 24 hours as advertised.

Great location, excellent staff (including a great restaurant), clean, comfortable and safe. You will definitely enjoy your stay here!

Central location is close to many things. Restaurant onsite, great food. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Lots and lots of stairs. Laundry service was overpriced. Some outside noise.

Rooms are smaller, untidy, bathroom not great. Overall stay, location, and facilities

clean room, very very kind staff.

Staff are soooo helpful. I got help to buy my train ticket, which cannot be purchased with credit card, and got an Uber taxi to get there.
-
Breakfast not included, but a full grocery store is practically next door to buy bananas and yogurt!! And the staff is very helpful in calling an Uber taxi to go far and I even got to steal one of the security guys to go to the “slum” to see art galleries!!

The fact that the restaurant was 24hrs it made my life easy in the night for a late meal The hotel doesn't have an elevator so if you have luggages it's going to be difficult to carry your luggages to the second floor

Very close to Masjid. I had difficulty paying with my credit card.

Staffs were amazing. Location is in the mall , felt safe and reception area is well monitored and guarded. Supermarket is around the corner. 24 hrs reception, room provided basic amenities, fresh bed linen although the room a bit aging. Restaurant staffs are polite and helpful. Coffee was good. Next to mosque but I’m an early person so it’s not an issue. Stayed here before the tour. Staffs 10/10!! None

The staff at Jamia Central Hotel were very kind and helpful.

Staff at the Jamia Hotel are all very friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating when I had to check out earlier than I supposed to and they didn't overcharge me. The restaurant there has amazing and quite affordable food and the staff, likewise, are very friendly and nice. Location of the hotel is central at the heard of business district in Nairobi. Rooms are clean although a bit warm since there is no air-conditioning. All in all, it's definitely worth the price that you pay for. There are no signs outside the Jamia shopping mal so upon arrival it might be a bit difficult to find the hotel. I had to ask one of the shop owners about the location and the guy wanted me money for just showing me where the hotel is (which is ofc not the hotel's fault but something to improve in terms of putting more signs outside).

location was close to shops and it was in the city. It was right next to the Mosque and it disturbed our sleep from early hours in the morning even just before bed time, it was so annoying I wish I knew this before I booked this place.
