The interior design The power kept on fluctuating, hence wife and TV going off. The power rating in that room needs to be re-checked

Location Food can be better

The breakfast was although nice Indian Vegetarian and location is excellent Safe in Westland area.There are many shopping malls near-by like Sarit and also Chowpaty Pure Veg restaurant is within 1 KM of the Hotel. The stay although nice, is suited for family traveler; as a business traveler it felt short on my expectation on Breakfast, room accessibility,laundry service.

Diverse breakfast - coffee could be better. Fruits is a big plus

The hotel was very close to the Westlands Mall which was convenient for buying a few last minute items for our Mt Kenya hike. It was also within walking distance of the Alchemist which is worth a visit if there's an interesting show going on. The landmark hotel next door has a very good restaurant. At the time of my stay (February 2025) there was construction going on in the lot behind the hotel that was noisy. It wasn't an issue for us since we were gone during the day.

Staff, location, spacious room, affordable laundry, gym and sauna. Everything was perfect.

Exceptional

This hotel is an excellent value for money for tourist who wish to make it their travel hub in Nairobi while planning different tours. It's in the Westland area, which is very safe and right next to Westgate Shopping Centre, close to another mall (Sarit). The location is perfect; you can walk to many shopping areas and restaurants. The rooms are nice and clean, and the gym is one of the best I have ever seen in a hotel. The staff is invaluable and friendly. The wifi works very well. There is a buffet breakfast available, mainly with Indian dishes, and the food tastes quite good. Very minor issue: You should have a basic alarm clock and ironing board with iron available in every room. They have a separate ironing room, but it is better to have an ironing facility available in the hotel room.

The hotel is off the road so the rooms are quiet. The room has a big sliding glass door open to the outside with a screen to keep mosquitoes out. All the services available are clearly marked. The internet worked well. The set breakfast menu left little possibility of adapting the meal to my diet/

Being using the Progressive Park since 2003 so it must be doing something right

The compound is beautiful, just like their modern gym. The rooms are spacious with a classy sitting room and dining with expensive tables and chairs. The beds! I'd wake up to rest because of how bad and worn out the mattresses were! They have the cheapest mattresses for all beds but guess what! They have tiled their perimeter walls.. speak of misplaced priorities! I doubt the non Africans were treated the same! They offered us the cheapest tissue paper - rough.. poor quality. They didn't offer us slippers for the shower. Those things cost $1, only!
