Staff was nice enough. Room was ok and priced economically. Not too far from downtown. Our biggest complaint was the noise. There were two dogs in rooms next to us as well as several children. We heard dogs barking many times during our stay and lots of noise in the early morning along with kids running around in the room above us.

The air conditioning unit didn’t work god so the room didn’t cool off as much as we wanted. Room felt empty. Furniture did not fill room like most others do. Bathroom was cramped.

Upon arrival, we had to wait at least an hour for a room. After finally getting a room, I found it was still dirty, with hair everywhere left by the last guests. I called for clean bedding. The housekeeping manager showed up with a roller, then acted as if she didn't see all the hair. The shower was filthy. After she left, about 10 mins later, housekeeping just busted into the room, no knock or anything. My kids and I were trying to rush to get dressed because we were there to celebrate my daughter's 13th birthday. Long story short, I would recommend it unless better staffed

Yajaira is the only reason I give this property 5 stars and an excellent rating. In the eight days I’ve been here I have witnessed how she acted more like a manager than the manager herself. No job is too big nor small for her. While management sat in the back she was trouble-shooting long lines of customers (more than any front office manager I saw during all times of the day), when a transient took over the main floor bathroom she handled it alone, although there were hotel employees in the vicinity who were aware of the situation. She handled it like a pro, kept things calm and respectful and even helpful to the beleaguered person, as she firmly and kindly led him to the door. Even as he returned to the property again, she immediately solved his problem of his lost items and escorted him for a quick departure. Those skills are usually found or taught at the highest level of leadership and yet they seem innate to Yajaira. She should be the manager here. You are lucky to have her. She knows and maintains good relationships with all patrons and stakeholders who enter and leave the hotel. I’ve been working in the cafe area adjoining the front desk and I’ve seen her professionally and appropriately regard each person who enters this space. She’s sees us as people versus problems. As a business owner myself, I value an employee like her. She’s personable and works beyond expectation for her guests. She represents you well. She should train this staff for your brand reputation.

The GM was very short and nasty when I advised that the room was not a deluxe queen. I asked if the bed was a queen. It is actually a standard queen and two regular size adults will have a time sleeping but because I was alone in one room I managed. The room is not a suite but a regular room with 2 beds. The bathroom is the size of the rest room on a cruise ship. She stated she just purchased the beds but they were not comfortable at all. The pillows made the second night sleepable as I used them for comfort. The smell on the 4th floor was dry and nasty. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The kids enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was horrible but plentiful. If I would not have talked to the GM I would have rated better but her attitude and demeanor was very unwelcoming when I was only inquiring about what the website stated I would receive. I booked two rooms and so glad I did because we would not have made it in that room with 2 adults and 2 kids..

Was fine for just staying before flight but will not stay again. Needs a major cleaning and remodel. Super sketchy area. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

The break fast was great , they offer almost everything for a good breakfast

Amazing people make for an amazing stay!
-
Very nice and clean room. Staff let me check in early due to my flight 'issue' so that was nice! Great location, really close to downtown.
-
Very clean room and friendly staff....highly recommended

Breakfast selection housekeeping only cleans upon request. Long wait lines at the front desk--as there was only one attendant and old gym equipment. (In fact, we heard the front desk clerk ask the manager to help with the long line and she remained in the back office.)

The rooms were nice and comfortable. The doors to the rooms had scuff or paint marks especially around the handle. There was a weird odor at the hallways due to the trash being at the elevators. There wasn’t really anyone cleaning the floors and elevators floors. When people would get out of the pool dirt would build up in elevators. There was also a lot of bass board cracking and wall splitting.
