This had to be the best hotel I've stay in the ten years of visiting my home! I loved it!

Breakfast is my favorite

Great views from room. Conveniently located to Bourbon and Canal streets. The property was very well maintained.

The Element by Westin was a cute and comfortable hotel. The room was spacious and immaculate. The manager Dasha, was professional and quite pleasant. The staff is young, and learning key lessons on the job. I truly appreciate the effort of the team that provided breakfast. They were helpful even when patrons came in late. Overall the experience was very good.

The property was nice. Clean, friendly staff & healthy breakfast options. However Expedia is running a scam. I paid for my room in full at the time of booking however once arriving to the property I was advised that I had a remaining balance for “taxes and fees.” Which was confusing being I paid in full when I booked the room. After calling Expedia, speaking with four different reps I was advised that the “taxes & fees” were commission and I was responsible for the taxes. After threatening to report them to the BBB I was issued a refund for “fees and taxes”. I was also advised by the hotel staff that they have been having this issue with Expedia for 7months. Charging customers in full and sending the hotel correspondence instructing them to take the net pay and charge the customer again for taxes that was paid to Expedia prior to arriving to the property. All customers should be made aware of this activity. In this economy a company of this magnitude should be ashamed of scamming their customers.

I like that it was a comfortable, quiet and convenient. Perfect place to wine down after spending the day in the French Quarter.
-
The room was fine and had lots of space. The hotel itself was like in an office building so there was a slightly strange layout of the ground floor to get to the elevators. Staff was very kind.

Amazing stay. I arrived later than my the day I reserved for and Michell was a big help to me.

We had two one bedroom suites. One was in a much better condition. Second one was dirty, with big spot on the carpet, no hooks in the bathroom, some wear and tear. Breakfast options were limited. Reception staff Michelle gave us the wrong room two times when we were checking in. She also made it look like it was us who didn’t know what we want while we were simply trying to get the room we initially booked.

It was great.
