Wouldn’t stay again room small over priced but close to a lot stay not friendly

Moxy was great!! The location is good too… you can walk to canal street and uber to other places.. The parking should be at least validated by the hotel since the hotel does not have an actual parking lot itself..

Lots of activities in lobby and very at home vide.

We had a good time.

Those bedroom doors are killers - tried to stop one, almost chopped off my finger.

Unfortunately, my experience at the Moxy did not meet my expectations. I specifically paid for a room with a view, but my window overlooked nothing but a wall from the second floor. Additionally, my room was located next to the elevator and the staff laundry area, making it extremely noisy throughout my stay. Overall, the room I received did not match the experience I expected when I made my reservation.

Love the vibe, awesome decor, great location. Our bathroom wasn’t very clean. The bottom of the shower was dirty, there was hair on our bath towels, when we first got there there was water in the floor by the shower, sink drain was pretty well stopped up, drained super slow . One day when we came in the sink still had toothpaste and hair in it and the trash wasn’t emptied. The curtains were see through and we couldn’t sleep because it was never once dark in the room.

Cons: Basic hotel room amenities, no closet in room, bed is thin with two pillow, ants in room when we bought food in food, staff isn’t rude but also not very friendly/helpful Wouldn’t stay again unless it was the only available option area was available and the price was good.

Need to at least put some bottled waters on the rooms.

Moxy's New Orleans venue used to be a gem.  Not anymore.  After a long weekend of terrible (and downright hostile) customer service, I won't be back. At most Marriott Bonvoy hotels, management is willing to listen to dissatisfied customers and work towards a solution.  Not so at the Moxy New Orleans.  After being assigned to a room without windows(!), I returned to the front desk, pointing out that the room listing clearing showed a hotel room with windows.  The front desk staff refused to consider putting us in another room and said that since we had made the reservation through a third party, our only option was to raise the issue with booking.com.  I immediately contacted booking.com, whose customer service team tried repeatedly over the next two days to reach the hotel by phone and by email, with no response.  On Day 3, when booking.com finally succeeded in reaching the hotel, the manager told booking.com that a room change was not possible because (1) we had not raised the issue earlier, and (2) we had already been assigned to another room.  Both statements are untrue and, yes, contradictory.  When I returned to the front desk after speaking with booking.com, Kara the manager refused to discuss the matter with me, saying I was "released" from the front desk.  She also threatened to deactivate my key card and have me removed from the premises if I continued to raise concerns with booking.com. Needless to say, I won't be returning to this (or any other Moxy) anytime soon.  Booking.com should reconsider allowing Moxy New Orleans to list on its website.

Great location and friendly staff

Nice and clean, in a safe area, close to all the fun stuff to do. Beds are comfy and firm too.

Quick walk to a lot of the attractions… staff was super friendly… clean, and modern. No refrigerator.

Location, that is it. I dont know where to begin. First off the rooms didnt have any drawers to store items, no fridge, no microwave. The LED lights that you see in the pics dont work. I only use there parking for one day, but they charged my card for 3 day. Its been over a week and they still havent even started my fund return process yet. The one bartender there is also the check out clerk and everything else. Poor management and not enough workers.

The property lacks proper ventilation which impacted my respiratory system. The light in room 303 was blinking and shorted out. Rooms 203 and 207 had a stench which made it unbearable to stay in

Room was clean and loved the aesthetic! Staff was helpful and friendly. Will definitely return.

The room we initially booked was overwhelming tainted with weed smoke residue. It smelt horrible and they knew it. They had a fan in it. The staff accommodated us and put us in another room. It was unpleasant but also the room was not prepped for our check-in. It was multiple things not just the smell. Their ac was out downstairs too so the whole “vibe” that is the selling point, was inaccessible.
