Wonderful helpful staff

Room was a tad small, but I booked cheap. Staff was friendly and helpful and it was very close to the venue for the wedding I was attending.

Location and staff was amazing 5stars. Only bad thing was not being able to access the pool without someone opening the door couldn't use card to open.

The lobby and all amenities were remodeled and it looks amazing. The rooms are very outdated and needs a lot of work. The tubs and toilets are very worn down. We had to be switched to another room due to ants being in our room. The staff was very helpful with that but we were in a room that we didn't book that put us on a very noisy street. I always stay here when I visit New Orleans but I think it might be time to find a new hotel until they update the rooms because for the price they should be better than they are

This hotel was awesome! The location is great since it's close to Bourbon street and Frenchman St. The rooms were actually well insulated so I didn't hear the conversations of the people in the next room like I have at a lot of other hotels in NOLA. The property itself was quite beautiful.

However, the shower was abysmal and wasn’t working well. We were forced to use the bath tub instead. Also, on our last day before checking out, the zipper of my mother’s suitcase gave out. We tried to borrow a long nose from the front desk but they collected it very quickly before we could even use it. We asked for some duct tape but they said they had none even though the engineers in the elevator promised to bring us one. I felt that they didn’t want to help us which was very disappointing. Luckily, the airline check in counter staff at the airport were very helpful. I felt that the reception at the hotel wasn’t willing to help us with the stressful situation. We could have paid for the duct tape if that was what they were worried about. We didn’t have time to buy a new suitcase because we were on our way to the airport. That check out was a real downer after enjoying our stay at the hotel.

The staff is amazing. From housekeeping to the front desk and everyone in between. They’re always happy, always friendly and very helpful. We thoroughly enjoy the Omni Royal.

Everything was amazing. But what really stood out was the staff. Everyone was so helpful and polite. Me and my wife loved it.

Exceptional

We stayed there many times. It’s was our favorite hotel in New Orleans based on location and location the building. The new renovations absolutely missed the mark. The rib room should have been put out to pasture. They really missed the mark by not coming up with a new restaurant concept. Still dark, dank and empty. And the new upstairs lobby bar and decor are completely bland and uninspired. No character. Nothing screams New Orleans. Looks like a corporate designer from Dallas did it.

The location is great but the property needs renovating.

Our concierge was very helpful and worked hard to get the excursion we wanted.

Parking fees were over the top. Everything else was great

Best rooftop pool and bar in Nola. Hotel is historic but very well maintained. Staff is excellent.
