The Pelham Hotel

I did not receive my refund for the accidents that I was promised.

Everything was perfectly amazing. The front desk was so very nice to let us relax and chill in the front lobby and have a few drinks there although this hotel does not have a bar or dining, but they let us take in our own.

The room is great and modern, we loved the radio station inside the room, Max at the front desk is super nice and friendly, thanks to him ! Our room didn’t have any windows

Great hotel, great location, staff is excellent

The 2 front desk guys in the day were very nice, were informative and really friendly. The others, including the night guy didn’t even bother to say hello when I went in and out. The room I got had no windows - it was fine but really dark because of the lighting choices (although not what I booked), but when I checked in the bathroom had a layer of dust. When I asked them it took 3 tries for them to come clean it. Also the bed sheet didn’t cover the full bed and the tiles on the bathroom floor were losing grout. Great AC, and the room was well designed.

How close it was to everything. Good location. My room had a mildew smell and the air conditioner leaked. There wasn’t a lot of light in the room, but it was manageable. It should also be clearer about the valet situation.

No swimming pool. The amenity fee of 15 per day.

Great location. You have to ask them to clean the room and they charge an additional amenity fee, which was unexpected. Helpful and friendly staff though. Away from the noise and quiet.

Location was great. The A/C didn’t work in the rooms, our or our friends room. We turned down the thermostat and it never got below 71° in the rooms, which I believe it was closer to 75°, and that’s just what you want in August in New Orleans, a hot room to sleep in. It was colder in the hallway than the rooms. There was a very stagnant mildew smell in the rooms. Every time we flushed our toilet it smelled like raw sewage. And we found a long black hair in our bedsheets. My husband is bald and I am blonde. Also, when you turn your vehicle over to valet, it’s pretty much no longer your vehicle. They will not let you keep your keys once the vehicle has been valet’d, nor will they let you ride to see where your vehicle will be parked, which is a block and half away on a completely different property. And if anyone is familiar with New Orleans, having your vehicle vandalized is completely the norm there. When we requested our vehicle for checkout it took 25mins to have it brought back to the hotel. This has been one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was amazing for our weekend plans. Room was cozy and quite. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was a nice size. Staff was nice. Beds were comfy and the location and microwave was a bonus The cleaning service could be at least every other day. The hotel took the deposit in cash and charged my card. I couldn’t get the cash back until after check out and the deposit had a hold on my credit card until after 24 hours after check out.

Clean, quiet, nice little vibe. It’s located close to the French Quarter. The Ruby Slipper chef’s kiss! The staff were great as well! No complaints
