1 Hotel Central Park

Front desk staff were very friendly. Hotel rooms were clean - a bit small but I knew that going in.

Well situated, good aircon in a New York summer . A must . Lovely central position in Manhattan especially to Central Park The $618 dollar hold they place on your card even though everything was paid for in advance . Seems excessive! The breakfast times seemed confusing. 7-9.30/10 depending if the restaurant is busy ? Very strange ? Never experienced that at a so called 5 star Also for a 5 star , no pool or spa , sauna or whatever

This was one of the best hotels I have ever been to. Perfect location, friendly staff, very immaculate and the tropical vibe hit PERFECTLY for being in a big city. Highly recommended and I’ll be back for sure!!

Very good workout room. They have music on that is way too loud. We had to change rooms due to a leak. The key to the new room didn’t work. I would not consider this hotel a good value but the location is excellent. A number of the staff were excellent. I think they are dealing with an old building with old infrastructure.

The staff at the front desk were not up to par but the housekeepers were very helpful

Best hotel on the east side of the park - staff is amazing. Jams restaurant is delicious and single traveler friendly. I love the sustainability philosophy throughout the hotel — they will even recycle any clothing you would like to leave behind. This was my 3rd stay - I’ll be back!

Wonderful hotel. Junior specifically was so helpful and accommodating. We had a baby and it was a great stay. Woukd recommend

Great location. Close to the park, undergoing some construction while they change out the windows, other than that it was fantastic. Construction was a great, some of the rooms can be small and dark

Location is good. On Friday at 9am started to hammer outside the room. At 12pm the noise was so loud it was not possible to talk in the room. The air-conditioning was very noisy The closet door can't open completely because there is a mirror in the wall and you can't open the drawers. Then inside the closet all hangers are one in front of the other so you can only see the first one in the front. It is the most fool design I've ever seen. Decoration is good but functionality is completely uncomfortable. Sorry.

Great hotel, great location

I had no idea pets are allowed in the hotel. I am asthmatic and highly allergic to dog dander. So my allergies and asthma were aggravated throughout our stay. It’s a nice boutique hotel as the lobby is small. There’s only one Public restroom in the common lobby and it’s shared with the hotel restaurant; so inconvenient. The value of this hotel is definitely expensive for what you are getting for. I thought this was a 5 star hotel but more like a low 4.

Beautifully designed hotel with a calm, sophisticated atmosphere and unbeatable location near Central Park. A fantastic creative base in New York with easy access to the city and excellent service. The only area that could use some improvement is the restaurant experience, particularly the breakfast and brunch menu. The restaurant also feels a bit small for the size of the hotel, and seating can be limited during peak breakfast hours. Otherwise, everything was very good and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
