Great location Room a bit small - despite booking Premium King, we ended up getting the smallest room on the floor.
-
I liked everything about it, except the bogus “city charge” of $46 a day (this was not a tax)
-
Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the shower in our room. The staff made several efforts to resolve the issue, and we really appreciated how responsive and helpful they were. The luggage and transportation team was also extremely attentive and customer-oriented - special thanks to them. One area for improvement is housekeeping, particularly floor mopping and overall bathroom cleanliness.
-
Staff was very helpful providing a working refrigerator in my room. Bed was extremely comfortable. Only drawback overall was that the light fixtures did not generate much light making some tasks difficult. That was a minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

Get a room on the higher floors if you’re sensitive to NYC construction noise.

The hotel was very nice, but once you got into the elevator and went up to the floor, it was not very clean. The door to the room, barely shut. It didn’t look very clean, and there was shampoo packets from the people who previously stayed there that were not properly cleaned. It kind of seemed like they did some patchwork to make it look renovated, but honestly, the rooms looked like it was a pretty messy job. I would probably stay somewhere else next time. I did love the location though.

Would recommend and also return. Location was also great.

Room was sparsely furnished, not at all like portrayed in photos. Shower curtain was substandard. Room floors were not that clean. Nice lobby and meeting rooms. We were expecting more due to the price. Resort fee is bogus!!!
-
Location was great for the Met and Museum of Natural History as well as the park. It was near restaurants, Starbucks, CVS (in front). You can enjoy Central Park.

Room was a nice size for Manhattan. Doormen were excellent. Location was excellent for eateries and access to NY attractions. We arrived 2 hours early. I communicated this to booking.com and never heard back from you. I assume it would be OK if room is available. The free car service that booking.com provided was on time. However, the driver was more like a race car driver. My wife became car sick. We entered the hotel and the main desk lady said we would have to pay $50 for early arrival. I wasn't going to start an argument. My wife needed a bed. The hotel was definitely not busy! Also, an aside instead of charging us $50 for early arrival they added an extra zero that I'm trying to get straightened out. They need to double check housekeeping when done with a room. Creamer, toilet paper, towels had to call and get.

Loved the vibe of this hotel as well as the proximity to the Beacon Theatre. Continental breakfast was basic but good. Beds were comfortable but room air conditioning loud. Our Expedia booking was lost upon arrival but quickly fixed (make sure you have your confirmation code with you) and discounts given due to inconvenience. I would stay here again.
