The Wallace

The Wallace is a great hotel in a quiet but convenient residential neighborhood. The subway is a short walk away, it’s only a couple blocks from riverside park, and it’s surrounded by great restaurants. Everything was seamless upon arrival and during our departure- the staff were so kind, accommodating, and approachable. They were eager to give recommendations and made us feel so welcome! I highly recommend the Wallace if you’re coming to New York and want a cozy place to land.

Everything about my stay was perfect. The doorman was always on point and ready. Hotel was beautiful and old school. Would recommend

Really enjoyed our stay here. Have small children and felt like it was accommodating to us as a family. Great location, off the major streets so was a bit more quiet. Would stay here again!

The hotel was in a great location if you want a quieter neighborhood feel. It was spotless, and our accommodation had everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again.

The Wallace was able to get us in before 3:00 so we could make our play. Location was perfect for our event. Very clean, comfortable and roomy.

I returned to this hotel once again because of its many advantages: location, high standard of cleanliness, a great bed, excellent service, and more. This time, I was upgraded to a suite for free a perfect penthouse room with a view. I look forward to returning soon. It would be best to explicitly state on the Booking website which rooms actually face the view and which face other buildings, as this is a key factor for me. While I’ve been upgraded to a room with a view on all the occasions I’ve stayed there, I’d prefer not to rely on that and would rather confirm it in advance

The hotel is amazing! The doormen and front desk staff are also very kind. The room is so lovely. Definitely I recommend all the hotel! This stay made my 30th birthday the absolute best♡ Nothing

We absolutely love this hotel. It is such a gem on the upper west side! Wonderful staff, super comfortable beds, clean and chic! Depending on when you book it is usually a really great value! I highly recommend and that’s coming from a former New Yorker. :-)
