The pillows are great . The sheets are soft . It’s a great location for restaurants etc .ive stayed there twice . I’d probably go back because when i needed to check out a day early they let me with no cost and no problem . Just for that I’ll go back

You can easily walk to Central Park, the subway and endless restaurants. The on site restaurant is lovely and reasonably priced, especially with the 15% breakfast discount. If most of what you want to do is uptown I would definitely stay here.It was also quiet, even on a lower floor.

Overall the hotel was great. My only complaint is the mattress was extremely worn out.

DId not eat breakfast at hotel or used the garage..But it seemed to be really good... The doormen are a plus in the hotel... Staff is very attentive....Housekeeping was perfect...

Thankfully we’re young enough; but the old folk - that was hard to see; let alone imagine what they were going through. Scary to think of if emergency were to occur. Staff nonchalant front desk and many of them. Doormen were great Room clean was good

An elegant old landmark building. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. I would stay here again. The restaurant Nice Matin is excellent as well if you crave a late dinner delivered to your room or eat in the restaurant in the same building.

Excellent experience. Will definitely stay at the Lucerne again

There were no toiletries or complimentary bottles of water upon arrival.

Comfy beds! Clean room!!!
-
Nice hotel at a reasonable price, good location, inside room very quiet
-
I recommend putting in comfort height for us over 55 & a grab bar in the shower . The existing one is very low
-
It was clean, the staff was excellent. The elevators were so slow. If you’re in a hurry, plan for that.
-
Great location for our purposes. Very friendly staff and a fun and comfortable room.

The room and staff and restaurant were wonderful. House keeping was excellent and the staff could not be more pleasant or helpful. We had a lovely extended breakfast with no rush. Our room with two full beds was very large. The beds were comfortable. My only minor contact was the limited storage and counter space in the bathroom. It was hard to keep the are around the sink dry. But we will stay again. Thank you.

The location was very pleasant and conveniently located near Central Park and a subway stop. Our check-in process wasn't great. We arrived 30-minutes prior to check-in and they couldn't accommodate us yet. They said they would text us when the room was ready, but they didn't and I had to go to the desk again. There were no "extra" amenities. We were very disappointed that the attached breakfast restaurant didn't open until 8am.

Lovely staff, clean and comfortable room, lots of room… highly recommend

Would stay here again for sure.

I reserved the room for my son. His flight from Chicago was delayed about 5 hours, so that he could only reach the Hotel at 1 am. As my son is using an international credit card, the payment did not pass through the Hotels payment system. After a few trials, the Hotel refused to offer an alternative payment method which leaves my son to look for another hotel at 1 am in New York. I want to believe that the receptionist did his best to get the payment while we were trying remotely to figure out what the problem is (Definitely not about the card limit). If you book from booking.com you cannot make the payment online to this Hotel and if you have a foreign credit card (even Mastercard or Visa) the Hotel could not take the payment. I cannot forgive this Hotel for puttin my son in this situation.

A grand old-122 yrs old-hotel, magical in every way. If you like older, memorable hotels rather than the cookie-cutter chains out there. Try the Lucerne next time you’re in NYC. You will love it
