The hotel is also in the best possible area closer to Penn and 42nd and Javitz. The rooms are incredibly quite for the location! Coming back here for the next business trip.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, but the overall stay was just average. The breakfast area could have been much cleaner, and some guests were very loud, making it hard to enjoy the morning. The surrounding neighborhood also felt a bit sketchy, which made us less comfortable. It was okay for a short stay, but there are better options.

The breakfast staff was very helpful, and the housekeeping staff was also very helpful. Front desk was efficient but lacked customer service warmth and friendliness. No 'welcome' or 'thank you' for staying with us. This could also be because of the number of people cycling through and they are just exhausted. I have stayed at other Hampton Inn hotels and the cleanliness etc. was better.

Helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Good position. Excellent housekeeping

I live the location to have access to main attractions.

Hotel was good. Staff was amazing, very helpful. Mr. Cesar the waffle expert was very friendly and attentive. The location is perfect if you want to be close to mid Manhattan but away from all the noise of Times Square. Will definately stay there again.

The hotel was excellent. The morning breakfast crew was exceptional. The only downside were the rooms were rather small and tight. Otherwise, excellent front counter staff, great location, and overall excellent stay.

Elevators break down often leaving guests STRANDED 30 floors in the air!!!

The a staff was amazing.

The biggest problem with this hotel is its HORRIBLE ELEVATORS!!! 1. They weren’t working properly two of our four days. 2. The housekeepers keep them tied up most of every morning while they clean the vacated rooms. Since there are only six rooms on each floor, the housekeepers are in and out of the elevators A LOT!!! 3. The morning when the elevators were either broken down or occupied by the housekeepers, there were multiple families stranded on high floors with their luggage unable to get down, missing their flights! The only thing hotel staff could say was “our engineers are working on it.” An honest employee told me, “this happens to often.” I think this hotel could be a wonderful affordable option for families visiting NYC, but not sure it’s a wise choice until the hotel owner installs new elevator system. Otherwise, the odds are high you may have to hike down 31 flights of stairs with luggage in order to make a morning flight.

Breakfast was decent, and it was something different each of the 3 days we were there. Location was good for the activities we had planned, like a show, etc. Staff were all very nice and capable (hey, they aren't everywhere!) The bad: Rooms and hallways were pretty small, but space is at a premium in NYC, so... Maybe it's like that at most places in Midtown? The ugly: The biggest downside to this hotel is the elevator situation. Only two, located in a small hallway between the lobby and the breakfast room, so people were coming from both sides which we observed causing some tension. We were on the top floor (32) so when it was busy, stopped on many floors on the way up/down. Wors to the wise: this would be a problem if you're in a hurry, or if the start/stop makes you feel sick. And the poor cleaning staff trying to navigate that with their carts? I felt bad for them. Overall, I'd say it was a positive experience but just know the risks.

The noise from the elevator at all times of day and night was not good. The room was a good size and clean. Highlight of our stay was Cesar - who was extremely helpful at breakfast every morning. Also decent selection of food at breakfast each day .

The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was much better than expected with kind staff in hand to make fresh waffles! Desk staff was friendly and helpful. Location is great. Elevators were a real problem. We were on floor 6 and had to walk down a few times because the cars were always full by the time they got to our floor and one day, one was out of service and the other wasn’t stopping at our floor.

Buena ubicación y excelente el desayuno.

Overall, the hotel is excellent; the service upon arrival—from both the receptionist and the person who helped with the luggage—was very friendly and attentive. I have no complaints at all, and I plan to stay there again in two years; I am really looking forward to returning.

Valet parking costs $95 USD per day, which is quite expensive, but it’s likely the safest and most convenient option, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the area and if you’re not from USA. Special shoutout to the gentleman making waffles during breakfast—he was incredibly helpful, attentive, and consistently went above and beyond. He made an effort to ask every guest if they had any specific requests. Whenever I asked for something that wasn’t available on the breakfast buffet for my kids, he prepared it right away without hesitation. His kindness and exceptional service truly stood out and made our stay even better.

I am very pleased with my choice of hotel. Its central location made everything incredibly convenient and easily accessible by foot. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. A personal highlight was the complimentary breakfast, which was both high-quality and flavorful.
