Hyatt Place New York City/Times Square

Location is great, near subway and bus, walkable distance to time square and board way. Breakfast is good, staff are friendly and helpful. Room size is limited

The staff is really kind and helpful. We got an amazing residence free of charge because the A/C hadn’t worked in our previous room. The new residence was spacious with a big bedroom and and a huge living area. Bathrooms (3 of them) were well designed with bath and shower. Service was good, breakfast delicious, a la carte. Our stay was magical, we highly recommend this hotel!!! Nothing! Everything was fantastic!

Which I like everything is near easy to walk downtown, Time Square. Not Responding Quickly.

The location of the hotel was ideal for our visit. We stayed on the top floor which gave us an excellent view of the city. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. The bathroom was quite small.

Great location and clean rooms. The hotel is walking distance from the subway and major tourist locations which makes it easy for a tourist.The rooms are enough to hold 3 people but make sure you don’t have too many bags Nothing that stood out

The breakfast was awesome. The lines were long but it had different stations and well organized. Love the options. The elevator was very fast. Didn’t have much waiting time even though I was on the 23 floor. I would stay here again. I felt safe even at night time to walk around which I did. Had many food options within walking distance. You have a 7/11 around the corner. You can walk about 12mins to Hudson yard or to Times Square in about 10mins. Penn station is about 10mins walk. You can get a shuttle to anyone of the airports from the hotel. To LGA it was $80 for 3 of us with check bags and carryon. The rooms are very small. But it’s New York.

No WiFi unless you paid for it and a mandatory $25 tourist tax (not experienced in other DC hotels) which you could spend at their overpriced outlets. Also a noisy generator in the room (I recorded it!) kept me awake all night. Won’t be using again

Room was too small for 3 people. Everything else was ok.

Our experience was unfortunately not what we expected. The room and bathroom were very small for a family of four, and the breakfast, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, was disappointing. The photos online also don’t really reflect how the hotel looks in person. The staff, however, were wonderful very friendly and attentive.
