Property was so bad that we only stayed one night out of 4. Rusted furniture, dirty and dangerous. There are no nightstands. No night lights, Floors are dirty, and everything has that sticky grimy feeling. I reported this to hotels.com and they did almost nothing to help the situation. I don't understand why this gets an 8 rating! Hotels should do a better job curating their properties. I have used hotels for at least 10 years and this is by far the worst experience. I am quitting hotels as a result.

Great location, clean room and friendly staff. The manager, Rahul, was very professional and helpful. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly. The hotel is right next to the train, but you can barely hear them when they go by.

Stayed here for a friends wedding in bushwick. Couldn’t sleep due to the insane noise from the club in the hotel (til 3am) plus everyone yelling and slamming doors all night. Not a place to get any rest.

The room served it's purpose. The iron had gum on it, so it had to be cleaned prior to using. Additionally, there were a couple of gnats in the room. And one thing that totally baffled and grossed me out, was there was no covers for the toilet.

Otherwise, a nice place to stay.

Hotel was comfortable, fairly clean, staff were awesome. Previous reviews indicated noise from bar on property and train disturbed them we honestly didn't hear much of either at night. Lots of food options withing walking distance. Typical NYC area with variety of individuals walking around. Exercise caution day and night and you should be fine. N/A

*Nice hotel *Near subway *Nice lounge on 1st floor *Accomodated request for room in back away from subway and extra towels *Staff is friendly *No frig or microwave in the room. *Community Ice bin and microwave are in the basement. *Ice bin seems unsanitary, uses a handheld scooper. It's not an on demand machine. *No early or late check out /in. *Only 1 elevator so check out is hard.

The bed was very comfortable. Hotel and room a bit old, but it was okay. Staff were friendly, including the manager who checked us out, he was really nice. Very close to two different metro stations which was great. They take a $100 deposit and were saying it should be back within 72 hours but it has been more than 72 hours and still has not come back. However, it seems to be quite standard with high deposits at hotels in New York because our next hotel after this one even took $200 in deposit. The photos make it look much newer than it is. It was okay but the photos are not really like the reality. The building was pretty old, especially in the corridor, although the room itself had probably been renovated a bit, but there was an opening at the bottom of the door so it was very easily heard when people were out in the corridor. New York is very expensive compared to most cities, so in general you will get less for the money than you will in other places, and that's not the fault of the hotel but keep in mind that for New York this is still on the cheaper side for hotels.

I would stay here again and recommend this Hotel. The price is very reasonable! S. Lee

Cons; no fridge
-
The DJ was pretty loud downstairs at night until 4am so just be aware of that and the elevator was slow. Other than that it was a good stay!

The staff is amazing the rooms are clean! I wish we were told that the shower bathroom doors are glass(see through) ,

Very good; the staff were very friendly, and the room was comfortable and clean. It was quiet, so I slept very well. Good location, AC good, close to restaurants (Chinese, American), the train, the bus, etc. I would stay there again.

our room right next to the train which was normal for me but might be jarring for other people to see construction men working on the tracks directly outside . not too noisy however . next to the subway stop and lots of little stores . very cleanly , just wished there was a mini fridge.
