The hotel room was spare, but very clean. Its location is great. I would definitely stay there again.

Great room and staff
-
staff was friendly and was close to train but the rooms were loud and i swear i could hear peoples farts if they were in the hallway. walls must be made out of paper mache. also the design was tangibly cheap , and there was so much cheap latex paint on the doors that the humid ac caused the door to bloat and barely close, esp the bathroom

Staff was super helpful, location is good. Clean, but the property is antiquated and in need of updates. No refrigerators in rooms, TV signal is degraded, no off street parking option.
-
Great price and location, clean and inviting.

If you stay in the basement

Great place to stay and affordable

The hotel looks much better online than in person. It was a decent place to stay but nothing that would bring me back. We were only provided with 4 towels and one wash cloth, no hand towels. The door to the room was difficult to open and close. Many times we walked past the front desk it was empty with no one watching who has access to the elevator. The A/C did work great.

Nothing

This is a terrible hotel. The room was unclean and made me feel gross just by being in it, the staff was largely unhelpful (bordering on rude), and I couldn’t even bear staying the night.

Loved the location.

Decent room, booked solely for a changing room before a rave nearby. Did not stay the night over but I found parking in the front which was a plus. Front desk staff were friendly.

The hotel was ok, the best part was the manager Miriam. Miriam was such a sweet person and she always checked to make sure everything was working and the guests were happy.

I think for the price it’s one of the best places I’ve stayed. Just the week before, I was in Chicago and paid twice as much for a room that was not as nice, and the hotel didn’t provide even something as simple as coffee! The Bklyn House was well maintained, the staff was very nice and helpful. Not a ton of amenities, but I appreciated the coffee station as well as the cold filtered water station! That was a huge plus for me. The hard things are the lack of parking (but it’s Brooklyn, what do you want I guess), and the AC unit was quite old so not terribly efficient and definitely noisy. The only other thing I’d add as an easy amenity is conditioner in the shower! Very odd to have body wash and shampoo but not conditioner. I did appreciate the refillable containers, though. I think the focus on sustainability is way more important than cute, tiny bottles. Anyway, thanks Bklyn House! I’ll for sure stay again!

Clean, stuff was friendly. It was closer to the subway and shops. I did like not having a refrigerator in my room.

Brooklyn House was nice and clean and in this hot humid weather the room was cool we will be booking again in the near future.

cleaning was done when requested.
